***Nicole's P.O.V.***

"But I have to go with Taylor. I need to know if she is okay."

I protest. It is already past the time I was supposed to show up at my parents, and Michael thinks I should go.

"She'll be fine. Just go on, I'll keep you updated."

Luke says, getting ready to walk out with Brooke and Ashton. I sigh in agreement as Michael leads me out to the car we had rent.

"Oh god I don't even have anything planned out to say or do ugh."

I say worriedly, as Michael starts the car.

"It'll be fine, I mean, what are they going to do? Ground you? Nicole there is nothing to worry about."

He says, and for some reason that lets me relax a bit.

I walk slowly up to the familiar house that I haven't seen in so long. There is already a Christmas wreath hanging on the door. That's a first, my parents were never really big on decorations; well, at least not until three days before Christmas.

Michael stands close next to me as I ring the doorbell. He takes my hand, which I squeeze nervously. I hear rushed footsteps and suddenly the door swings open, jingling the bells hanging on the wreath.

"Nicole!"

My little brother shouts with joy. He is only 13, but almost taller than me; he almost knocks me over as he hugs me at the doorway. I laugh a little, hugging him back. We step in the house, and I take of my coat, hanging it on the railing.

"Who's this?"

Chase asks, looking at Michael a bit suspiciously.

"This is Michael, my boyfriend."

I say, almost hesitantly, and Chase nods a bit awkwardly.

"Hey."

Michael says, making the situation even more awkward. Chase smiles politely and stuff his hands in his pockets.

"So, where is everybody?"

I ask, heading toward the living room.

"In there."

Chase says, gesturing towards the living room. I peek my head in to see my parents and Ariana sitting down and laughing at something. Once they see me, everyone goes silent for a moment.

"Hey!"

I say, waving subtly. Everyone immediately gets up from their seats to greet me. My dad looks at Michael with the same suspicious look Chase had. My mom nudges my dad and introduces herself formally.

"You must be Nicole's boyfriend! I'm Laura."

She says enthusiastically, shaking Michael's hand.

"Michael, nice to meet you."

Michael replies with a smile, returning the shake. Everyone turns to my dad.

"I'm Dan, nice to meet you, Michael."

My dad says, also shaking his hand.

"You too, sir."

I almost laugh when Michael says this. Next, Ariana moves to the front.

"I don't think we've formally met, I'm Ariana."

She says, a huge grin on her face. Michael chuckles a bit, then there is another silence. My mother claps her hands together.

"Guys, have a seat, make yourself at home!"

She says, gesturing to the chairs and couch, surrounding a glass coffee table. We all find a seat, and once we are settled, I feel that this would be the appropriate time to start explaining.

I look at Ariana, who gives me a reassuring smile.

I start talking about the girls, the apartment, going on tour, One Direction, and finally, Taylor and Brooke.

"So, uh... Taylor and Brooke are uh... um, well they are pregnant!"

I say, adding more enthusiasm to the end than expected. Chase looks sort of... confused? No, disgusted. And my dad, well, he keeps the same expression, but tightens his jaw. My mom and Ariana are smiling hopefully, and after a few moments my mother speaks.

"For Pete's sake Dan, would you just be happy for them?"

She says, and my dad now looks angry. I can already feel tears, but I force them back. My dad just stares at me, as sort of a shun.

Great, now I feel bad.

"Your mom's really nice."

Michael says, breaking the silence in the car as we approach the hotel.

"Yeah..."

I reply with a sigh. After I had told my dad, he pretty much just ignored me the rest of the time.

We get out of the car, and start towards the hotel's double doors. Michael holds it open for me, a breeze, then warmth, washes over me, causing me to get goosebumps.

No one is in the lobby, so we get straight to the elevator. Michael pushes some buttons once we are in. The doors shut, and we are alone.

Thank god there's not fifty people in here; I'm quite claustrophobic.

"Your brother's a cool little kid."

Michael says, and there is a ding.

"Did he talk to you?"

I ask, and wonder when that could've happened.

"Yeah."

He replies, leaning on the wall.

"What'd he say?"

I ask, hoping he didn't say anything retarded.

"Oh, you know, just making sure I'm taking care of you, stuff like that."

Michael says, with a grin. He continues.

"And using protection."

We both laugh, as the elevator doors open to our floor. The first thing I see is Calum pushing Aubry down the hall in a luggage cart as fast as possible. Aubry is screaming.

I look at Michael, and he shrugs. Calum waves, and we go into our room.

"Well."

I say, setting my purse on the bedside table.

"That actually didn't surprise me."

Michael says, closing the door. I giggle, and nod in agreement. I realized Aubry has stopped screaming, so I peek my head out of the door.

"We're good."

Aubry says, looking at the luggage cart, which is tipped over near the wall. They both shrug and head to their room, across from ours.

I roll my eyes and close the door. It's then I realize how tired I am.

I sigh and head towards the bed.

"What's wrong?"

Michael says, wrapping his arms around my waist.

"Nothing, just a little tired."

I say, and Michael smiles for a second, before pulling me into a kiss. It lasts for a bit, and after a moment, Michael pulls away, still hovering close to my face. We kiss again, but this time it gets pretty heated.

Well, you know what happens next. ;) But don't worry, we followed my brother's instructions.
