All I could think, was damn. Just my luck. The one time I meet a boy I actually like, and he's connected to my father's killer. Why? What did Gunz and Diesel have going on? Was Diesel trying to set me up?

Delilah's mind was racing. Kina was speeding through traffic like she was following her man to another bitch's house. When they finally arrived to Rocky's townhouse, no words were spoken. They marched up the steps and started banging on the door. Delilah's hands were on her hips, her face set in a deep frown. Kina's face was blank, but she had a Swiss Army pocket knife clutched in her hand.

Rocky answered the door shirtless, just basketball shorts and Nike slides on. "Why y'all here?" He frowned.

"Where is Gunz?" Delilah didn't feel the need to explain herself to Rocky. He raised an eyebrow and looked from her to Kina. His first thought was that maybe Delilah had caught Gunz talking to his babymama, but he knew their relationship was too new for that level of jealousy. Rocky was genuinely puzzled until the sun caught Kina's knife, and he took notice.

"Ay, Gunz!" He hollered into the back and stepped aside to let them in. Whatever Gunz had done to piss off the girls was none of his business, and he damn sure wasn't about to get stabbed taking up for his idiotic ass.

Gunz came out of the bathroom with his shirt off as well and his knuckles wrapped up from the fight earlier. "What you doing here?" He asked Delilah, surprised but pleased.

"I thought I had scared you off," he admitted with a chuckle, swinging his arms and looking towards the ground.

"Well I'm about to set it off. What the fuck was that with Sour and how do you know Diesel?" Delilah interrogated him with her hands on her hips and her skin on fire. She was mad enough to light his ass up.

As soon as he heard Diesel's name, Rocky poked his head out from the kitchen. "Y'all said something bout Diesel? Homeboy with the scar who had shot other homeboy? Man yeah my Uncle them seen him at Chu's the other day. Talmbout he as buying tropical twist swishers. I told them mothafuckas, if that nigga buying flavored then thats how you know he looney..." Rocky trailed off, noticing they all were giving him a Why the fuck are you here? face.

"I'ma be in the kitchen." He retreated back and decided to just ear hustle.

"Why you asking me all these wayward ass questions? And what it got to do with you?" Gunz asked Delilah in an annoyed tone.

"You took me to a family establishment in which you proceeded to beat the shit out of a man who is the only lead I have to finding my father's killer, since nobody else round this motherfucker seems to care. Start talking, asshole!" Delilah screamed.

"I took you to a family establishment in which I proceeded to beat the shit out of family and establish why he shouldn't fucking steal from me! I don't know shit bout no Diesel except for what the streets say, and they say to stay the fuck out of a snakes path." Gunz paused, then turned his face up. "Asshole? Watch it, lil one."

Delilah smacked her lips, "So why the fuck people coming up to me saying Diesel trained you?"

Now Gunz looked pissed. "My fucking Daddy trained me. I just told your harebrained ass I don't know shit bout no Diesel."

Kina pretended to yawn and said, "Let's skip the rah rah and get down to it. Do you know River?"

"Parks? Little sleepy eyed crazy bitch?"

"That's the one," Delilah and Kina said deadpan in union.

"Yeah."

"How?" Kina flung her arm at him, mad she had to keep pulling answers out one by one.
