"Studying"

7:30pm
At Dylan's house

"Why did you freak out on set today?" I ask Dylan when we get home. As I set my stuff down he looks at me

"Because he's a bad kid" Dylan says flatly

"How do you know?" I ask. I furrow my eyes brows.

"He freakin got suspended Evelyn!" Dylan yelled
"For pulling a fire alarm!" He finishes

"You don't know. Maybe there was a fire that got put out before firefighters came" I say with a shrug

"What? That doesn't even make sense! See he probably put you under a spell. And then he will make you run away with him and for all I know you'll come back a year later and have a kid!" He says. I look at him and my mouth drops open

"Ok are we sure your not on drugs?" I say mouth still wide

"Not right now" he says

"Right now!? Have you ever been on drugs?!" I say. We look at eachother and laugh.

"Are we really quoting teen wolf right now?" I say

"Hey, when you have to memorize lines and repeat them over and over, it's eventually gonna slip out" he laughs. I laugh back

"Ok back to the conversation" I say still laughing. But it quickly stops.
"Why can't I see Caleb?" I ask with a whine

"He's scetchy" he replies.

"Dylannnnn!" I whine louder. Caleb asked me if I wanted help studying. Or should I say "studying" and I would feel really bad if I blow him off. It could ruin the likeness of eachother. I mean we are soul mates. And we can be if Dylan just gets out of the way.

"Evelynnnnn" Dylan mimicks me.

"I promise. PROMISE it's just studying. Nothing else. Nothing less" I say

"You promise not to do anything bad?" He asks raising an eyebrow

"What would I do bad?" I say. He shrugs his shoulders and opens his mouth to say something but shuts it. I look at him with a questionable face. Suddenly it clicks.

"Oh. Ohmy gosh Dylan!  Eww no. I'm not gonna go get pregnant!" I yell.

"Pregnant!?" He yelled
"I was just saying I didn't want you to so drugs or something. But if you're thinking of pregnancy. Oh my gosh Evelyn. Ya know what. Don't even look at him. I'm gonna lock you in your room forever. Nope. Your just gonna stay locked up and occasionally you can come out to say hi. Grab some food to get you through the week and go upstairs" he says with a straight face.

"Are you serious right now?" I ask

"Ya. Go. Chop chop. There's some leftover Chinese food in the fridge" he says still with a straight face. I give him the wtf face and he continues looking at me.  Thankfully my mom comes in.

"Thankyou!  Mommm Dylan told me he's gonna lock me in my room forever just cuz he doesn't want me studying with Caleb" I say whining again

"Why would tell your sister that?" My mom asks

"Cuz she's my baby sister and I wanna protect her" Dylan says with a small smile

"That's nice. But she's growing up-" my mom begins

"Ya! I'm growing up. I'm almost 15!" I say

"So grown up" Dylan says laughing. I stick my tongue at him

"-she's growing up and I think if she's just studying, than I think she's trusted to study with a boy" my mom says. God bless you mother

"Thankyou so much mom!" I say hugging her.

"Fineee" Dylan moans.

"Just please be good" Dylan says. I nods my head and give him a hug.

"Trust me. You won't be an uncle for a lonnnggg time" I say

"Thank you" he laughs. And with that I go upstairs and text Caleb

Me: I can study on Thursday

Caleb: great!  C ya on Thursday. Love ya

My eyes widen. Did he mean to say that

Caleb: oh crap. Ignore that last part. I'm gonna jump off a bridge now. Uggg I'm so stupid.

Me: hey Caleb. It's ok. I like you to

Caleb: really?!

Me: ya. Love ya💜

Caleb: love ya too❤️

I smile as I change into pajamas. I turn off my light and plug in my phone. And fall asleep
