Audition Time

"I like your confidence" Jeff says to me
"Thank you" I answer shyly
"Ok we are just gonna ask you some questions about your life and then we will do the talking audition" Jeff states I nod my head
"Ok so why did you start making YouTube videos?" He asks. I already know this amswer
"Well when Dylan got the part as stiles, it was just me my mom and Patrick and I didn't have much to do. All my friends are back home in New York so I didn't have many friends. So I decided to try YouTube. I guess I was funny or something cuz people subscribed and liked and commented and it was weird. I just love making people laugh and when I make my videos I know I'm making someone's day better like I'll get comments from people saying that they were having a bad day or something and my video made them feel better." I finish
"That's incredible. I love working with people with a positive spirit." Jeff adds
"Would you rather be a cousin of stiles or Scott? We still havnt decided yet and we'd like your opinion" Jeff says
"I feel like If I was a cousin of Stiles I could act better like he was family because ya know" I tell Jeff. I don't like making decisions for people.
"You make a great point. I defiantly feel like you would have a better connection with stiles because he's your brother and acting as his and cousin would be more of a natural relationship." Jeff says
We talk more about my personal life and school and stupid things Dylan does on set...and at home. I read a couple lines from the season 6 script.
"Great job" Jeff says with a smile.
"Now we are gonna have Dylan come in and you two are gonna read some stuff, just to see if you two have a good cousin bond" Jeff says walking to the door and letting Dylan in. We read some scenes, do some acting and all that fun stuff.
"Fantastic. You both did amazing. Thank you Dylan, and Evelyn great job. You looked like a professional" Jeff says
"Thank you so much." I say
"We will let you know in a couple of days if we are gonna have you go into a table reading or McKenna Astin" Jeff says.
"Wait who's McKenna Astin?" I say. I'm nervous
"Oh she's just another girl that auditioned a few weeks ago" Jeff answers
"Oh ok." I say. If I wasn't nervous before I'm defiantly nervous now. I'm Competing for the role of... of... what's her name
"Um Jeff? What's gonna be Stiles cousins name?" I realized that I never actually asked that.
" we are thinking of Stella Stilinski" he answers.
I nod. Back to my thought.
I'm competing for the role of Stella Stilinski, stiles stilinski's cousin against a girl who has probably some plenty of acting jobs. She's probably older and smarter and prettier then me.
"Come on Evelyn" Dylan says.
"Where we going?" I ask
"To meet McKenna" he says quietly
"McKenna Astin? The girl that is probably gonna get the role as Ellie Stilinski. Great. " i say
"Just be nice. I think you too will get along just great" Dylan says with a smile. He's up to something
"I'll try" I tell him. He smiles and gives me a high five.
"Are you ready" he says
"I guess" I say. We drive for about 20 minutes. My parents stay at the building and talk to important people. When Dylan and I arrive, we pull into a long driveway. There's a big house with about 4 stories and I could tell there was a pool in the back yard. Dylan and I get out of the car and walk up to the door. I knock. A woman in her mid 30's answers the door. She had platinum blond hair with green eyes.
"Hel- oh Dylan!" The lady says.
"Hey ms. Astin. Long time no see" Dylan says.
What?
I see a girl start walking down the stairs. Her head is down. When she looks up my mouth drops to the floor, my eyes widen and my heart begins to beat fast.
I've met her. Only when I met her, she was McKenna Johnson
