Dylan's house
"Hey everyone! Evelyn Monroe here and I'm backkkk!! I'm so sorry I have been inactive lately, but I've been filming and all that fun stuff. Buttttttt. I have an announcement. I have a boyfriend. I know I know. Your all thinking how did she get a boyfriend?! She's ugly and I know I'm gonna see it in the comments so apparently I'm not to ugly cuz I have a boyfriend. I love that word. Boy- friend. Boyfriend. His name is Caleb and he's so sweet. We met on set cause his mom is my makeup and hair lady so he came with her one day and he helped me with math cuz as most of you know, or none of you know, I suck at math. He is almost 16 and he's a really nice guy. I hope to have him in some videos in the future. Maybe next week 😏. One more announcement, um I hate to say this but I may be taking a small break from uploading videos. I just feel like I'm so busy with filming and other issues. And I feel bad because some of you wait for me to upload and I break that promise. But we will see. The break wouldn't be long, just till filming is over. I'll make a video of I decide to take a break. Love you all. 💚

I turn off my camera with a sigh. In my heart I know I should take a break and focus on filming and family and Caleb. But my mind is telling me to continue. I upload my video and go downstairs. It's Sunday night, so Dylan and Patrick are most likely watching Sunday night baseball. And my mom is making chicken wings because apparently T-pose is coming over to. Minutes later I hear the doorbell.
"I GOT IT!" I yell.
"OK!" Dylan yells back
I open the door
"Hello" I say smiling
"Hey E" Tyler says back to me
"Are you just gonna stand there, or?" I ask
Tyler chuckles to himself and walks in.
"Hey Tyler, you should spend the night" I say
"Sure thing kid" Tyler answers with a laugh. I smile.
"Baseball is starting!!" Dylan yells from the theatre room
"Coming" he shouts back before running downstairs.
I walk into the kitchen and get food.
"Thanks" I say to my mom
"Are you watching baseball with the boys?" She asks.
"Nope. I have to make a video" I say quietly
"Can't it wait?" She asks
"Nope" i reply while walking up the stairs
I upload my earlier video and within minutes people are freaking out. People Are commenting for me to stay, fan pages are blowing up and I'm shocked. I didn't realize I meant this much to people. I just don't have time to do this right now. I turn on my camera and begin.
"Hey guys. So looking at the title of the video you probably know what's coming. I promise this isn't the end. It's just a 3 month break. We finish filming this month and it will air soon. Then we are spending a couple months in LA with Dylan before heading back to Malibu. I will probably post occasionally and I promise I'll be back. Pinky promise and if I'm not back in 3 months or less y'all can bug me about it and rant. Because I need to remember that you guys are the reason I'm where I am right now. Without YouTube and all your guys continuing support, I'm in one of my favorite shows with my brother. Thank you all so much. Love you all💙. And for the last time. I'm Evelyn Monroe O'brien and I'll see y'all in 3 months tops"
*camera off*
I feel tears slip down my cheeks. I go on Instagram and notify my followers to expect an announcement from me soon. I immediately get comments. Lots of them seem excited about this announcement. They probably think it's for the show or I'm goin on tour. Or maybe releasing a book. Hm that sounds like a good idea. Evelyn remember to think about writing a book. I upload the video and for some reason it's taking longer. Is this a sign? Should I hit cancel now and save everyone from the news? Or is my internet just being slow cuz I'm upstairs? Maybe I should hit- before my thought finishes, my video has been uploaded. I think about making it unlisted right then and there, but it already has over a thousand views. No goin back now. My Twitter blows up as does my comments. Rumors that I've been hacked or being forced to say this quickly spread. I tweet back short and simple.
"Thanks guys.💙 100% my decision ~Evelyn Monroe."
