Hello! Here is the second chapter, please leave some feedback if you're reading my story. You can do that on here or on my tumblr blog (niallmyirishsnowflake.tumblr.com) - while I'm reposting my story here, I'm going to correct some errors. Enjoy xo

No, no, no. No! I knew Jayden good enough to tell that he was about to agree on this deal. He shouldn’t do it. He wasn’t going to win against Niall. I had never seen Jayden play before but I’ve seen Niall. And damn it, he was really good at it. He wasn’t the stereotype of a basketball player obviously since he wasn’t extremely tall. But Niall could jump rather high compared to other people. And he was good at aiming, he almost made every shot. And if Jayden hadn’t played since high school, he couldn’t beat Niall. No way.
More and more people came over to see what was going on here, and I wished all of this was just a bad dream. But it wasn’t.
I shot Jayden a warning look but he didn’t even see it. His eyes were focused on Niall who was smirking and had his arms crossed in front of his chest, holding my dress between his arms and chest.
“Well?” he said, provocatively looking into Jayden’s eyes.
“Jayden,” I muttered in order to make him realize that this was a bad idea. Niall’s eyes met mine, and he smiled at me sweetly. I gave him a devastating look, and he pouted his lips playfully. Jayden growled.
“Fine,” he snapped. I couldn’t believe he was dumb enough to agree. I mean I had kind of known he would. But still… how could he not see that it wasn’t going to lead anywhere good? Niall grinned triumphantly. His lads chuckled in the background, and I saw Louis giving Harry a high five. Bastards.
“Perfect,” Niall said, sounding pleased. “Meet me at the basketball court in an hour.” The crowd cheered, happy to have some drama, I guessed. Wow. In one hour. So Jayden couldn’t even prepare himself for this. I was sorry to say this but he was gonna go down. I sighed, feeling anger rush trough my body.
“Caitlin,” Niall spoke, so I looked up and our eyes met once again. “Come here,” he said, reaching out his arm, holding my dress in it. I peeked at him, definitely distrusting. Maybe he was up to something again.
“Fuck it, Horan,” Jayden said furiously and took a few steps forward to grab my dress. Niall moved his arm against his body immediately.
“No,” he said calmly and gave Jayden a glance that made him stop coming closer. “Come here,” Niall repeated gently, looking at me and giving me a warm smile. What the fuck? I walked over to him slowly, giving him exactly what he wanted once more.
“Now that wasn’t too hard, was it, sweetheart?” he said and handed me my dress. I snorted and held my dress tightly to my body before walking back to Jayden’s side.
“Let’s go,” I hissed and he nodded. I quickly started to put my dress back on and realized that it now smelled a bit of Niall. Awesome. When I had my dress back on, trying to ignore Niall’s scent on it, to be honest, he smelled amazingly good, I’d never admit it this in front of him or Jayden though, we turned around to leave this disaster of a party.
“Oh, and Caitlin?” Niall called. Couldn’t he just shut the hell up? I wanted to cry and drown him in this fucking lake. I tried not to turn around but I felt like I had to. “What?” I snapped angrily.
“Hot body,” he smirked and winked at me. I flipped him the finger and gripped Jayden’s arm, pulling him away from Niall and his clique, away from the curious crowd and from this whole horrible party. God, why did we even come here in the first place?
We walked in silence for a couple of minutes – I could hear his quick breathing and knew he was still trying to calm himself down. I felt the urge to tell him how unbelievable dumb he was for agreeing to play against Niall. But I managed to keep my mouth shut. I didn’t want to get him even more upset.

An hour later we were at the outdoor basketball court of our college. A lot of people were already crowding around it, probably dying to see the show. However, Niall and his clique were nowhere to be seen yet. Jayden was dribbling a basketball to warm up a little, and I just stood there and watched him. He was such a fool for doing this. At some point I realized that I was just really disappointed in him, which made me angry. It was so naive to agree on this whole fucking one on one game with Horan. And it was so stupid to get this irritated with the shitty things Horan did. Sure, everything Niall did was really provocative but that’s what it was all about. He needed to get attention to make himself feel good, so he did dumb shit to get whatever he wanted. And how comes he actually gets exactly what he wants every time?
Suddenly the crowd started to cheer and I turned around to see a black range rover driving along the small street, coming to a halt at the edge of the basketball court. Loud music was booming out of it and the doors flew open. Niall came out from the passenger’s seat, Zayn had been driving and the other three guys had obviously been in the back of the car together. Niall had changed – he was now wearing some black sweatpants and a grey t-shirt which’s sleeves he had rolled up. He had even done his hair which was now in a really messy quiff. It made me want to ruffle his perfect blonde hair. He looked absolutely stunning and I hated myself for finding him so attractive and staring at him. He noticed my gaze and smirked, seeming pleased. I glared at him and quickly checked on Jayden, who was now holding the basketball in his hands and had his eyes fixed on Niall.
“You ready?” Niall walked up to him so they only stood a few inches from each other. Jayden nodded stiffly and Niall flashed a grin at him.
“Great. We’ll play ‘til 20, okay?” he suggested. It kind of surprised me that Niall even did suggestions at all. I would’ve expected him to simply make up his own rules, like it or not.
“Okay,” Jayden agreed. I walked over to a bench at the edge of the court to sit down and watch the whole game from there.
“I’ll leave it to you to start. I don’t want you to lose zero to twenty,” Niall said, scornfully grinning at Jayden who still had the ball. Niall placed himself in front of Jayden, ready to defend the basket behind his back.
“Let’s go,” he ordered. Jayden pretended to dribble past Niall but then stopped and threw the ball at the basket right from where he was standing – and scored. Me and some other people cheered while most of the crowd booed loudly. Jayden then made the same move again and scored once more. After that he tried to get past Niall but failed. Niall easily won the ball and went for the basket, jumping high and pushing the ball right through the net of the basket.
“Was that all you’ve got?” he asked, pretending to be disappointed when he walked back to the middle line, dribbling the ball. The crowd cheered and started to call his name.
Niall made five more shots before Jayden managed to win the ball back. I was happy to see him making some points and I had to admit that he was actually better than I’d expected him to be. I still wasn’t too certain though. The game got heated and both of them were sweating by now. Niall honestly looked so hot that it made me feel things I didn’t want to feel. I couldn’t help but stare at him once again, being that sexy sweaty mess he was. After he had made his next shot and turned around, he wiped away the sweat from his forehead with the back of his hand and our eyes met. He winked at me and smirked, before concentrating on the game again.
Niall was now up by 7 points and really close to win this game as the score was 17:10.
“You’re not gonna score again,” Niall announced and grinned widely as he went for the basket once again.
Within a few seconds, Niall had won the game 20:10 and the crowd was freaking out, cheering and clapping their hands loudly. Some girls were even screaming his name. Jayden looked really disappointed and angry right now. I stood up from the bench and got closer to the boys.
“So since I’m the winner,” Niall started, “I can have anything I want now.”
Jayden nodded quickly. Niall flashed a wide smirk, showing off his white teeth. The people around the court got silent, and all eyes were on him now as everyone was waiting for him to say something. I could tell Jayden was really uncomfortable with this situation and wanted to leave as soon as possible.
“I want Caitlin,” Niall said sincerely and I froze. What? Some people laughed, others started to whisper anxiously and some more cheered. Jayden’s eyes grew wide and he snorted.
“Forget it, Horan,” I hissed, looking at him in disbelieve. He let out a small laugh and came closer to me. I stepped back. “You can’t buy me, I’m not a thing!” my voice cracked and I think I was in some sort of shock in this moment. He couldn’t just do this.
“Well, I didn’t ever say I wanted to buy you, love,” Niall said, smiling and coming closer again. “I’ve just won you.” He softly pushed some of my hair behind my ear and seemed to be proud of himself. He smirked cockily.
Jayden was about to explode and walked up to Niall, his hands clenched so tightly that his knuckles went white. Within seconds Liam and Zayn had grabbed Jayden and stopped him from moving. “Let go of me you fucking idiots!” Jayden called. He was furious. Niall watched them calmly as if this happened every day. “You better shut the fuck up, bastard!” Harry growled as he and Louis approached Liam, Zayn and Jayden. “I tell you what, you little fuck, you better let my girl go, now!” Jayden called. He seemed to have crossed a line here. Harry punched him in the face and growled: “No one messes with us, got that, damn fool!?”
“Enough!” Niall called, sounding annoyed. His cocky smirk was gone, instead his face had tensed up and he seemed to be angry now.
“Caity is coming with me now – end of the discussion,” he said slowly. “And Jayden. We had a fucking deal so back the hell off and leave.” He was dead serious which made him so dangerous in a way that no one said a word. Everyone seemed to hold their breath. I knew I couldn’t protest now. I had to come with him. What on earth did he want? I couldn’t believe this was happening to me.
Niall turned around, facing me. I stood there, still shocked. “Come,” he said and grabbed my hand carefully. He pulled me towards his black range rover and opened the passenger’s door for me. My legs felt weak, causing me to stumble a little. He held me up before I could fall against the car, hitting it hard and helped me to get in without hurting myself. I was feeling absolutely numb and my brain turned blank. I couldn’t think straight, and I didn’t know what was happening to me. Niall closed the door, and a few seconds later he got into the driver’s seat and started the engine.
“Fasten your seatbelt,” Niall ordered and I obeyed with shaking hands. Niall drove the car back to the small street and sped up a lot once we weren’t near the court anymore.
I tried to say something but I couldn’t. The words didn’t come out. I glanced at him and felt scared of him in this moment. What was he going to do to me? And besides he wasn’t even sober and drove the fucking car I was sitting in. He growled something under his breath but through his thick accent I couldn’t understand what exactly it was. He then turned to look at me and seemed to notice how shocked I looked like.
“Don’t be scared,” he said, placing one of his hands on the naked skin of my thigh. He softly rubbed his thumb against my skin, causing me to shiver.
“Can you just put both of your hands on the fucking wheel please, you’re not sober, Niall and I don’t wanna die,” I said, surprised that I managed to get this out while my brain was still trying to figure out what exactly was happening right now. He grinned at me but kept his hand on my thigh.
“Ah baby, I’m not drunk. Don’t worry.” He started to draw some random patterns on my skin and I sighed heavily when I realized how good this felt. I didn’t want him to touch me though – simply because I couldn’t stand him and he didn’t have the right to.
“I didn’t say you were drunk but you’re not sober either, so stop touching me and drive safe!”
His smirk just got wider.
“I’m good at this baby,” he said and winked at me instead of keeping his eyes on the road.
“What? Getting me upset? Because that’s what you are really good at,” I said angrily. He laughed and shook his head slightly.
“I’m good at everything. Driving… playing basketball… touching you…” With this he slowly moved his hand up my thigh and pushed my dress up. His fingertips felt so soft on my skin and I felt myself shiver once again, trying to ignore the tingling feeling in my stomach caused by his touch. I grabbed his hand to stop him. “You’re not gonna touch me anymore,” I hissed. He just kept smirking as he entwined his fingers with mine. I decided not to argue with him about this anymore. It was definitely better to let him hold my hand instead of having him move his fingers up my thighs. His touch felt so good and I was crazily attracted to him physically which would probably get me to want more of him. And that definitely couldn’t happen. I wasn’t his toy.
“We’ll see about that,” he chuckled and squeezed my hand. Once again I let out a sigh and leaned back against the seat, suddenly feeling exhausted. I tried to relax, telling myself that I didn’t have a choice anymore. That he would take me wherever he wanted and that there was no chance to escape him tonight. There was no point in arguing with him since he would always get it his way. All of this just brought my anger back, and I couldn’t believe what kind of idiot he was.
“Where are you taking me?” I asked him, after we’d sat there in silence for a couple of minutes.
“You’ll see,” he answered and kept his eyes on the road for once. “We’re almost there anyways.”
I felt relieved and hoped that I could get some rest there. I’d go home tomorrow and see how to figure all of this out.
A couple of minutes later Niall parked the car in front of a small house. It looked really nice to be honest, but there were no other houses around which made me feel sick. What was he going to do to me?
He pulled me into the house and I took its beauty in from the inside. It was cozy and everything looked really expensive. A low “whoa” escaped my lips, as I felt a little overwhelmed. Niall chuckled, and I heard him locking the door behind us. I turned around, shock spreading across my face. He rolled his eyes at me and let out a sigh. “Caity, I’m not gonna hurt you for fuck’s sake,” he said and came closer. “You know, a lot of people lock their front doors in order to keep thieves out.” He smiled. It turned into a huge grin though, when he said: “I’m gonna grab a shower, come and join me?”
“Forget it, Horan,” I said and sat down on the couch.
“Mhh, well, that’s too bad,” he said, sounding disappointed and opened a door which was obviously leading to the bathroom. “See ya in a couple of minutes,” he winked and closed the door behind him.
When I heard the water from the shower, I stood up and decided to explore the house a little. There was only one floor, and it didn’t have many rooms. I walked from the living room, which had a kitchen attached, to one of the three doors. I already knew that there was the bathroom with a naked Niall inside behind one of them. I swallowed hard when I imagined his naked body and shook my head, trying to clear it. Behind one of the doors was a small sauna which left me speechless for a couple of seconds, as I just stood there and looked at the wooden benches inside. I went into the last room next, and of course it was a bedroom. It looked a little messier than the rest of this small house with some of Niall’s clothes on ground. There was a huge bed that was definitely big enough for three people to sleep in. Well, probably there had already been three people inside of it in the past. I mean this was Niall’s bed. I didn’t even want to know exactly what had happened in it already.
Suddenly I heard soft footsteps behind me and froze. I hadn’t realized that the water had been turned off until now.
“You’re already in the right room,” Niall whispered at my ear, as he wrapped his arms around me from behind. “Good girl.” His breath was hot against my skin and some drops of water fell to my skin from his wet hair.
“Stop,” I said as he started to kiss my neck gently and the tickling feeling came back. Surprisingly he did what I asked him for and stepped in front of me. Niall was only wearing a pair of white boxers, and I inhaled sharply as I saw him almost naked, standing only a few inches away from me. He looked like a sex God and probably he was. Oh for fuck’s sake. This was just too much for me.
Niall smirked and pushed me against the wall, pressing his perfect body against mine tightly. Against my will, my breathing became quicker.
“Stop, Niall,” I said again, getting nervous. He could be hot as fire but still I couldn’t stand him. He was such a jerk.
“You like me,” he smiled and I could feel his breath hitting my lips.
“No,” I answered which wasn’t even a lie.
“You love my body though,” he said knowingly. How could you not love his perfect body? There was no point in denying this but still I didn’t want this. I didn’t even want to be here.
“I hate you,” I whispered trying to make him stop, but failed. “Good,” he breathed, looking deep into my eyes. “You know that there’s a thin line between hate and love, right? And also,” he brushed his soft lips across my cheek gently, until they reached my ear, “hate is a very passionate feeling, baby.”
