Yesterday when Aley had woken up we had told her that we would volunteer to help her out, it was only after a lot of persuasion did she agree to us helping.

So here I was in the car with Jake and grumpy sleeping Stephen at 6 in the morning driving to the town hall. Jake yawns a few times but after taking another sip of his dark coffee he awakens a bit.

We are met with Alex and Chloe in the parking lot and walk together to the entrance, glad to see Sam seating on the steps waiting for us.

"Sup guys?" he gives Jake and Alex a side hug, kisses my cheek and ruffles Chloe's already messy hair. Her eyes goes into slits of anger when he did that. "If you want to lose your hand do that again." she threatens. Sam just laughs.

"Where's Aley?" I look up to Alex for answers. He shrugs "I don't know she left the house an hour ago, she's supposed to be--"

"Hey guys." a very enthusiastic Aley comes running from the back of the building with a very sleepy Zack behind her.

She hugs us all. "Hey glad you guys can make it. We have work to do." she smiles broadly. "Come." she ushers us to follow her in the back.

"How in the Hell is she so happy this early in morning? " Chloe leans on me, yawning like crazy. You know Chloe was tired. Why? Well for one, her hair wasn't done, it was just a mess but it worked for her. Secondly, she was wearing sweatpants, one of Alex's baby pink t-shirt and black converse. I have known Chloe all my life and has never seen her in sweats. Lastly, she had no make up on, she always wore make up to go into town and today she was rocking her 'plain faced Boho look' as she called it.

I laugh at her question "Maybe she had a huge cup of coffee, which you obviously didn't." I caress her small head as we enter the back door of the building. "No. I was up all night trying to fix that damn prom outfit for you guys. It's hard to embody what you guys want in a compromised outfit." she sighs. "You could have asked for help , you know?" I giggle. "I know, but I love the challenge . I do need you guys to drop by on Wednesday for a fitting though. But right now I'm too exhausted." she pouts.

I was more than grateful that Chloe was trying to go with the compromises we had made in the costume shop and even agreeing to compromise on her outfit, by stepping out of her comfort zone.

As a reward I decided to show her a good gesture. I hand her my purple portable coffee cup,she looks at it as if it was the holy grail, nearly snatching my hands of to grab it.

My precious

I mentally smile as the picture of Shmiggle from Lord of the Rings come to mind. Once inside my attention diverted from Chloe to the view infront of me. "Aley? When you said you were almost done is this what you meant?" A very shocked Sam had to ask, because all of the rest of us were too immobilized to talk.

He had a point to say that.

Yes there were tons and tons of decorations, tables, chairs, speakers, and all the other essentials but none of them were in the right places, not even close. They were all still packaged in their original boxes while the hall was bare.

This was a perfect location for the prom we were thinking of hosting. It had lots of spaces for a people to sit, dance, mingle etc... It had hard wood floors, clean white walls, large Victorian windows that would let enough light in, an already functional stage for the DJ to be set up on, wide French doors and best of all was it's side garden that had a Victorian fountain along with tall hedges, and wooden benches. It would all go great with our theme, but the only problem was ; none of it had been done yet.

"Well yes. You see the mayor promises to give me the supplies needed but he did not include services of help along with it." Aley says shyly, looking at her brown Pocahontas boots. "That's why I'm happy you're all here--" she arcs her neck to the side "--even you lycan Stephen." she shouts.
