"For the last time I picked up a pen,
And a piece of paper to write,
A letter to you with all my heart,
The last one after that fight.

The fault was mine not yours I accept,
But why did you just leave?
I thought you'd keep your promise,
Cause in you I still believe.

I apologize if I hurt you,
I'm sorry for what I said,
Can you forgive me and come back?
All the bitterness can you forget?

I don't know your answer,
Maybe I will never hear it at all,
But memories of you would always stay in my heart,
No matter how big or small.

So if you find this letter,
Please bring it to me today,
Cause for the last time I'm writing,
All the words that I couldn't say. "

A tear rolled down her cheek,
And fell on the paper she held,
She looked at the grave that stood before her,
And a hint of guilt she felt.

"I forgive you" is all she said,
Before she turned to go,
And walked away from that lonely grave,
Where now he smiled alone.
