When Alayna looked up, her eyes widened in fear at the figure standing in the middle of the road. She slammed on the break, but it didn't help anything. The steering wheel locked in place and the only sound that filled her ears was the sound of the tires squealing against the pavement. Then the sound of glass shattering.

Her head pounded making it feel like her skull was about to shatter. Her eyes felt like they had fifty pound weights holding them closed. Everything was blurry at first, but slowly things came back to her. The first thing being the bright over head light on the side of the road, then the fact that she was upside down, and then a pair of feet making their way towards her. She felt her heart race as she remembered exactly what happened. The person in the middle of the road, the crash. Sam. Catherine. She tried to get out, but her seat belt wouldn't budge.

A startled scream left her lips when she came face to face with what she thought was her attacker. Then she realized it was Dean who was looking her over with concerned green eyes. "How ya doing in there?" He asked, assessing the damage to Alayna and the car. Karoline was so not going to be happy.

"Dean?" Alayna croaked, her voice quiet.

"You look stuck." He pointed out the obvious.

"It's my seat belt," She whispered, pulling at the leather strap. "I can't get it."

Dean hushed her, "Let me get you out of there. I want you to put your hands on the roof," She did what she was told, bracing the palms of her hands against the roof of the car. "Just like that. You ready? 1... 2... 3..." He ejected the seat belt and in one quick motion pulled Alayna out of the car gently. "I got you," He whispered, gently setting it on her feet. "Are you okay? Can you stand? Is anything broken?"

"Uh-uh." She mumbled, her legs giving out from under her.

Luckily, Dean was there to catch her before she fell to the pavement, "Whoa, you're fading fast, Alayna. Alayna, look at me, " Dean took her face in his hand, getting her to look up at him. "Focus. Look at me. Okay."

"I look like her..." She whispered, too low for Dean to hear.

"What?" Alayna wasn't around much longer to answer his question. Her eyes fell closed and she fell unconscious in his arms. "Damn it." He cursed under his breath, scooping her up in his arms and bringing her over to the Impala. She had left for food a little less than an hour ago before Karolin sent him out to go find her. He didn't expect to find this.

He set her in the passenger seat gently, looking her over with worried eyes. He needed to call Karoline. He held the phone between his ear and his shoulder as he moved to the back of the Impala to get the small first aid kit he kept under the seat.

"Did you find her?" Karoline answered on the third ring.

"Yeah," Dean answered. "She was in an accident."
