Chapter 11

Ruby's p.o.v

"So...your father doesn't accept me?" Wiess looked at the ground, trying to avert my eyes. "He doesn't accept us" she mumbled. I looked at my shoes. "Well then...I guess I'll just go". She didn't even look up, which just broke me more.

I turned on my heal and walked away from her. I heard her crying but my feet didn't want to go back to her. It started raining lightly as I took the long way home.

I finally got home and opened the door to see both Blake and yang weren't there. I walked into the kitchen and saw that they were sitting outside on the porch steps. I decided to just go to my room and think about everything.

Why did she tell me to leave? Why doesn't her father just accept us? How long can I last without her?

All these different things went flying around my head. They never ended until I finally found sleep. But the dreams I had haunted me.

Yang's p.o.v

Blake said she wanted to talk after diner so we decided it's best to go outside. It was raining lightly when we sat down. Neither of us said a word until I heard the door.

"I think ruby's home" I said. She nodded and looked at her shoes. "Bla-" before I could finish her name, she spoke. "I can't do this yang..." I looked at her in confusion. "What?" I squeaked out.

She looked up at the sky and I saw a tear go down her face. "Yang...I'm sorry I just...it's hard to explain..." more tears streamed down her eyes as she tried to explain. "Blake...what are you..." I felt my heart shatter into pieces.

"Yang...please forgive me..." and with that, she want back inside and out the front door. Did she just-no yang! You guys weren't together, together.

But it felt like it. No! She doesn't love you. But I love her. Move on.

I couldn't think straight as I tried to comprehend what just happened. Did she even really like me?

Blake's p.o.v

He called me and I knew he was going to ask me to go back. And that's exactly what I'm doing. The rain's getting harder and the ground muddier.

Why did you hurt Yang? I had to before he found her. You could've stayed! He would start looking for me. You left her broken. I left her because...because it was the right thing to do. No! The right thing to do is go back and hold her in your arms.

My head was pounding with thoughts of Yang. I continued to run until I reached my old apartment. I want up to room 232 and unlocked the door.

There he sat. On the couch. Facing me. "Blake, where have you been!! I've been worried these last few weeks" he said hugging me. Okay Blake, just say the right words in the right way so he won't get pissed off.

"I stayed at a friends house to study. We had a lot of assignments to work on as a team" I said as he let go of me. "Blake, you know you could've came to me for that and not some disgusting human" I looked at the ground. "I know Adam, I'm sorry".

He took my hand and led me to my room. "Go on and get changed, we'll deal with this later, but for now you need sleep" he shut the door behind him as he left me alone in my old room. Welcome back old life.

Yang's p.o.v

I layed in bed listening to music as I tried to get earliers event out of my head. The song was kind of soothing but went kind of well with my situation.

Did you mean it? when you told her put her number in your phone?

No, I shouldn't have.

Did you mean it? When you told her you be feelin' all alone?

I never should've have told her how alone I was.

Did you mean it? When you told her you want to come over?

I should have never let her in. I should've just kept to myself and not told her!

I got off my bed, throwing my headphones down, and walked downstairs. I got my keys and helmet and walked out the door and into the rain.

Time skip

It's been hours since I've been driving. Its 1 in the morning and I'm somewhere near downtown. I continue driving until my scroll rings. I stopped my bike and answered, not even checking the caller ID.

"Hello?" I siad putting my scroll to my ear. "Yang? It's Wiess. I have a question about ruby" I quirked a brow, not knowing how she got my number nor what she and ruby did. "Ask away".

"Okay so... Wemightvebrokenupbutididn'twanttoanditoldrubyandnowshewon'ttalktome" it took me a second to really, fully understand what she said. Then it hit me, she broke up with Ruby.

"What did you do to her!?" I heard shuffling on the other side. I'm pretty sure she almost dropped her scroll. "I'm sorry, but my father said he didn't want me to go out with her and instead go with Neptune!" she sounded as if she was about to cry.

"What the fuck? Why Neptune? He doesn't even like girls!!" I was getting mad at this and just wanted to throw my scroll. "I don't know yang, but I promise! I didn't mean to hurt ruby in any kind of way" I heard her sniffle.

"It's okay Wiess, I'll tell her" I said with a small smile. "Thank you yang!! This means a lot to me"

"No problem, Ice Queen" before she could say anything I hung up and started driving back home.

Ruby's p.o.v

I head a knock on my door and opened it to find a wet yang. She was covered in water but seemed as if she didn't care. "Ruby, Wiess said that she's sorry. She didn't mean to hurt you, and that she had to say that I'm front of her dad because he wanted her to be with Neptune and not you".

She still loves me?!

"Thanks yang" and with that I shut the door and layed on my bed. She still loves me. I kept repeating it over and over again until sleep took over.
