Chapter 19

Wiess's p.o.v

I sat in, what seemed like, a video game store. I was waiting for Pyrrah and her friends to come so we can "hang out"

I looked up when I saw Nora's pink car pulling up at fast speed. When the car came to a stop, literally, everyone jumped out. I sighed.

This is going to be a long day.

Ruby's p.o.v

I was terrified to even get out of the car but we all jumped out, leaving a confused Nora. "Guys? What's wrong with you?" she asked while getting out.

Juane looked like he was about to barf. I inhaled the fresh air and turned to Pyrrah. "So where are we going exactly?" she smiled at me. "To the arcade, Wiess is already on there"

It felt like my heart stopped when I heard her name. Wiess? Here? But why? I was trying to think of the reasons Wiess would be here when I felt a tap on my shoulder.

"You coming?" I looked and saw it was only Juane. "Uh-yeah" I said following him inside. The arcade wasn't as packed, but there was still a lot of people.

"Have any ideas on how I should talk to Wiess" Juane whispered. I shook my head. "Sorry Juane" he sighed and we continued to walk until we found the gang sitting at a table.

"Ladies first" I rolled my eyes at Juane and sat. "So the plan is, we're gonna order some good and then play. Sound good?" everyone nodded at Juane's plan. Me and him got up to go order everyone's food and some drinks.

"So...you think I can hit it off with Wiess?" I looked at Juane and could feel my heart shatter a little. "Uhh...I mean yeah! I'm pretty sure you can" I said while playfully punching his arm.

We talked and laughed until we finally reached the counter and ordered. We waited for about five minutes before we received our order. I handed everyone their drinks while Juane gave out the food.

"Howsh yansh doshing?" Juane said with a mouthful of pizza. Wiess scrowled and I laughed. "It would be nice if you talked English Juane" I said after my laughter died. He swallowed his food and smiled at me.

"Sorry, I said how's Yang doing?" I quirked a brow. "I uhh...I haven't seen her since last week, so I don't know. She only texted me today" I said as I nibbled on a cookie.

"Why is that?" Pyrrah asked, concern evident in her voice. I sighed before answering. "She went to drop me, Wiess, and Blake off at my Uncle Qrow's house. You see, they have a bad bond so they don't get along and all...anyways they got into this huge argument and she left" I said as I sighed again.

"Speaking of Blake, where is she?" Nora asked. "She went with Yang when she left. She said something about her calming Yang down" I slumped in my seat.

"Cheer up Ruby, she'll turn up soon" Juane said patting my back softly. I smiled sadly and nodded. We ate a little more before we split up to play some games.

"Hey Ruby, you good at shooting?" I heard Nora yell. I smirked. "Hell yeah I am, you game?" I said entering two tokens. "I am so game" she said picking up the plastic gun. I picked up mine and we began to play, killing zombies and monsters.

We both eventually died and went to play other games. I had fun but one thing was still on my mind.

Where is Yang?

Yang's p.o.v

Blake sighed again as we say on the couch. "We have to go back soon Yang. We do have school tomorrow" she said. I groaned. "I can take you back" I said getting up. She grabbed my wrist making me stop.

She gave me these cute eyes that were begging me to go back with her. I sighed and grabbed my keys. "Fine let's go" I said opening the front door. She smiled and quickly got up, following me to my bike.

We got on and I drove to the house. When we got there no one was home. "Where's Ruby?" I looked at Blake and shrugged. "Don't know. I bet she's hanging out with-" before I finished my phone buzzed.

I received a message from Pyrrah. I quirked an eyebrow and opened the message.

Pyrrah: Hey, where are you? We're hanging out at the arcade

I texted her back.

Me: I just got home, do you guys want us to come?

Pyrrah: Us? And yes, Ruby keeps on moping about how much she misses you!!

I sighed while rolling my eyes.

Me: Me and Blake, and I'll be there in three minutes. Don't tell Ruby in coming.

"Hey Blake, we're going to the arcade alright?" she put back on her helmet and nodded. Before I drove off, I checked Pyrrah's last message.

Pyrrah: I won't, be safe

I drove off and we literally arrived there in three minutes. I looked through the window and saw that Ruby and Wiess were playing some kind of dancing game. I smiled and we walked in.

I looked around for Pyrrah and spotted her. I walked up to her and tapped her shoulder, making her turn. She smiled and hugged me and Blake.

"Alright so how do we tell her we're here?" Blake whispered. I sighed and shrugged. "We're figuring that out actually" I said back taking her hand in mine. She smiled and leaned her head on my shoulder.

"What time are you guys leaving?" I asked Pyrrah. She looked at the time then at me. "I'm not too sure. Nora's usually the one that sets up the time and place" she said with an apologetic look.

"It's fine, we'll just get something to eat and follow you guys home" I said. She nodded and we left her to play her shooting game. "Do you think she'll be mad at you?" Blake asked when we say down after ordering.

"Honestly...I don't know kitten. Let's just hope she isn't" I said. She got up and sat down next to me. I put my arm around her head and layed her head on my shoulder.

Let's hope she isn't that worried either.
