Chapter 32

Ruby's p.o.v

"I still think you two should take caution of your relationship" Wiess said. I saw Blake roll her eyes.

"We are Wiess. I don't understand what the big deal is! If you guys don't like us being together that's your fault. Me and Blake are in-"

"Love? Don't you think we're a little too young to understand what love is?" Wiess said. My eyes widened as I looked at her.

"Ruby. Take Blake and everyone else to the next room" Yang seethed through gritted teeth. I looked at her with watery eyes that showed dear.

"But Yang-"

"Now!"

Yang's p.o.v

I glared at Wiess as eveyone left the room.

"Listen, I didn't-"

"Shut up Wiess!" I yelled. She looked at me with fear. Good. At least she knows who's boss.

"I don't know what you're trying to pull, but if you don't think me and Blake belong together, then keep it to yourself. When you said we're too young to understand what love is, Ruby's heart broke. Now, I know damn well that you two have something going on and I know you guys are trying to fix it, but that don't mean you have to bring my problems into it. I was planning on marrying Blake after graduation. I have the ring and everything, but because people are talking about us breaking up, I'm not sure if we'll even make it there" I said.

"I don't under-"

"Ruby was going to do another year of school before she asked you to marry her. That's how much she fell for you Wiess. But you're so damn oblivious to see that" I interrupted her.

"Ruby fell so hard, that she was willing to do anything just to be with you. And that's how I am with Blake. I would die over and over again, just to be with her. I love her so much Wiess, but I have to put my problems first before my relationship. The problem with Sun won't go away but that won't make me hate Blake. Yes, I may have my moments where I go out to fight and such, but I will still come back to her" I explained.

By now, Wiess had an expression that I couldn't quite read.

"Now I've gotta ask you... How much do you care about my little sister?"

Blake's p.o.v

I held Anthony as we all sat quietly in the guest room. The only noises heard where Ruby's sniffling and slight yelling from the next room.

Even Anth was quiet. I held his small body close to me and kissed the top of his head.

We all jumped when we heard a noise coming from the kitchen.

"What was that?" Nora asked. We all stood up and decided to see what was going on.

As soon as Pyrrah stepped into the room she walked towards me and took the baby from my hands.

I gave her a questioning look but my question was soon answered when I saw it. When I saw her. She was laying on the ground with blood running down her nose and onto her lips.

"Yang!!?" I screamed as I ran towards her. I took off my sweater and put it behind her head. She groaned. "H-hey babe" she said through gasps of air.

"Yang, shut up" I said as I inspected her body. I saw icey glass shards in her skin. Why wasn't she melting them? That's when I saw the large shard in her head.

Shit.

"Baby, Imma need you to stay with me on this do you understand?! Don't close your eyes Yang" I begged through sobs. She groaned again and opened her eyes. They were bloodshot.

"Bl-Blake..."

"Shhhh, baby. Please don't speak" I said as Nora and Ruby came to my side. "Blake, we're gonna have to pull it ourselves" Nora said. I looked up at her and nodded.

She took my hands in hers and brought them to the glass. "On three" she said. "One...two...THREE!" she had me pull it while she held Yang's head still.

Yang screamed and it broke my heart. "Okay stop" Nora said. Yang's breaths became short and shallow.

"Yang, baby, please stay with us. Please, I need you" I said as I kissed her cheek. Her breathing was becoming calm at my voice and Nora soon too control.

"Ruby, get me a knife" she said. Ruby didn't budge. She was staring at Yang with worry and fear in her eyes.

"Ruby!!" she snapped her attention to Nora and nodded. She quickly stood and ran off to the kitchen.

"I need to try again" Nora said as she put her hands on the glass again. Yang grunted. "Shhhhhhh, baby. I know it hurts, but we have to pull it out. I need you to trust me baby" I said through my tears.

"O-okay" she mumbled. Before I knew it, Nora pulled the icey glass out of Yang's head and threw it to the ground.

"Shit!" she said as blood gushed out of her head.She removed my sweater from behind her head and wrapped it around her wound.

Yang tried to take off the sweater but we didn't let her. "Baby stop!! Stop please stop! It needs to be there" I said as I cried. Yang had tears in her eyes as she struggled.

"Yang please!!" I said as I held her hands. Her struggling came to a slow stop. "Bl-Bl-Blake...h-h-help...m-m-me" she mumbled. I let more tears fall from my eyes.

"Yang, I need to know what happened" I said. Her breathing accelerated. "Sh-sh-she...tr-tr-tried...t-t-to...p-p-prove that...sh-sh-she l-loves...R-R-R-Ruby" she said.

"Yang, did you tell her to hurt you!?" I sobbed. She nodded her head but it added to her pain. "Why would you do that!?"

"She wanted to see if Wiess really loved me and took the pain in herself" Ruby said as she walked in.

I looked at her and whipped my tears away. "Wh-wh-where..." Yang said.

"She's outside Yang. She didn't mean to hurt you this bad. She was only supposed to hurt you enough that you could heal it" Ruby said calmly.

Yang hummed in response before closing her eyes. "Yang?" Nora said worried.

"Yang!?" she said again. She put her head on her chest but quickly raised it. "YANG!! COME ON!!" she yelled.

"Baby!? Baby, please!! If you could hear me squeeze my hand!" I said as Nora continued her CPR. "Yang, please wake up! Open your eyes baby!" I said.

"RUBY!! CALL 911!!" Nora yelled. Ruby quickly ran to the nearest house phone and dialed 911.

Nora stopped the CPR. Tears ran down her face. "Sh-she's gone!" she said.

I took gasps of air as I sobbed more and more. "Yang!! Please don't leave me!! I need you!! You said we had a future!! You said we we're going to get married and have kids!! Please wake up!!" I said as I held her body close to mine.

"Please wake up baby! Don't leave me! I love you so fucking much! Don't leave me!" I repeated over and over again.

The ambulance finally came and took her. They allowed me to ride with her and I accepted while everyone drove down to the hospital.
