When I came to, I was in a cell. From the amount of hay, wet hay at that, I figured I was probably hidden underground somewhere. I didn't see the moon, or sun if that much time had passed since I did pass out. Who the hell was that wolf that took me down so easily? Had I not slain dog upon dog? Did I not hold the title of the best werewolf defeater in the last three hundred years? Without my leadership and skill, I'm sure the vampires would've been close to extinction by now.

I sat up from my wet hay bed and looked around a bit more. The walls were made of stone and there was a steady drip of water coming from the ceiling above me. It was probably a pipe problem, though it didn't surprise me that these beasts probably didn't care to get it fixed.

There was door that opened from across the room. I stood and wrapped my hands around the bars of my cell door. I tugged at the door causing a loud clanking, "Let me out." I demanded before the person that had walked in got closer to me. I could hear their footsteps drawing closer. I saw him and hissed.

"Oi, someone has a temper." The wolf looked at me with a smirk, "Gihi, it's quite cute, for a vamp."

"Shut it!" I snapped back glaring at him. I pulled my hands from the bars and crossed my arms in front of my chest. "Why did you take me prisoner? Why didn't you kill me then and there?"

"At the vampire estate surrounded by vampires? Ya think I'm insane? I was scared I'd get caught cause of that damn wound on the back of yer little head." He stepped close to the bars and looked be dead in the eyes, "We need ya."

"For what?" I was starting to feel quite hungry. If I hadn't been stuck behind the bars, I would've made this strange werewolf my dinner. I made the mistake of not eating at the party.

"Questioning. Yer also a very powerful asset to the blood suckers and I rather have ya where I can keep an eye on ya, shorty." I wanted to slap the smirk that spread across his face. My size was truly the one thing that bugged me. "Why are ya so short anyway? Aren't ya a pure blood?"

I swear fumes were spilling from my ears, "I can't control my genetics!" I reached through the bars grabbing at his shirt then pulled him against the cold iron bars separating us. I looked him in the eyes, "I'd drain your ass dry right here if I could. Not only am I starving, but you're pushing my buttons, dog." I shoved him away and he caught his balance almost instantly.

"Hungry, huh?" He got closer to me again and stuck his arm through the bar. "Drink up, shrimp."

I glared at him then stared at his wrist. I walked closer to it and hesitated for a moment. He was either wanting me to kill him right here, or he was trusting me enough not to drain him dry. I didn't want to know which it was, but I knew that if I killed him I wasn't going to get out of this cell.

I bit down in his wrist and to my surprise, his blood didn't have a bitter taste like other werewolves. No, his blood was sweet and almost addictive. As I sucked away at his blood, it took everything in me to not drain him dry, not because I wanted to, but because I loved his taste. I pulled away wiping my mouth. He was slightly slouched over on the bars holding himself up with his other arm.

"S-sorry." I whispered looking at him. I'd taken too much and he looked really pale.

He sunk down the bars and leaned against them throwing his head back. I could see the smile on his face, "Damn. Got a little carried away?" He looked over his shoulder at me.

I blushed, unsure of why I was blushing. Was I embarrassed? I pushed away whatever feeling had overwhelmed me in that moment and spoke to him again, "I could've drained you dry."

"But ya didn't."

"I wouldn't have a way out of here if I did."

"Fair enough. Smart girl." He took a deep breath and licked his wound which was leftover from my teeth.

I knelt down beside him cutting my wrist. "It's only fair I help you heal, at least. Only just a sip though, blood doesn't do that same to you as it does me. This should only help your healing process speed up. I suggest you get something to eat when you are well enough to walk away from this cell." I held my bleeding wrist to his mouth and he licked it. I watched his wrist heal almost instantly and smiled to myself a bit.

"How did ya know that?" He questioned.

I chuckled a bit, "We have to find out more about you all somehow. I used to work with the weapon masters, and we needed to find ways to keep our specimens alive. You guys aren't as easy to capture as you are to kill."

He stood up, and I was almost certain he'd fall over because when he faced me his face was still pale. "Heh, well I can tell ya yer the first vamp we've ever captured." He began to walk away and I stood reaching out after him.

"Wait!" I yelled after him. "Please explain to me how you were able to take me captive so easily? You're far more powerful than I and our sensors didn't catch your DNA in the perimeter. What are you?"

"My name is Gajeel Redfox." He turned and looked at me as I let my arm fall to my side, "I'm the last alpha werewolf." He hesitated for a moment, "I'm the only werewolf left that can't be detected by yer sensors."

I must've had a look of horror on my face because he had the biggest grin on his face. "I'll be back later, shrimp. I gotta go recover from yer little feast." With that, he was gone and I was left alone in my cell. I was terrified. My coven was doomed, as was I. Who knew what horrid things that they had planned for me?
