I braced myself for impact holding the sword I'd just taken from the training room in my hands ready to strike the beast. The werewolf reached me and before I could swing she jumped on me. I dropped my sword and was left with only my hands to defend myself. I had to hold the top and bottom of her mouth to keep her from biting me.

"Get. Off." I demanded struggling to push back. "We're on the same side." I rolled to the side taking her with me. She fell off me and I got to my feet quickly grabbing my sword. "You're a Redfox wolf aren't you?!"

"What is it to you?" A man with blue hair walked from around the nearest corner as the red wolf backed away from me. She morphed back into a scarlet haired woman, and being that she had been a wolf she was naked. Her body was covered in scars showing she'd seen battle more than once. The blue haired man caught up to her and wrapped a coat around her shoulders, which she buttoned up and continued to stare me down.

"It matters quite a bit." I heard a low voice and I turned around to see Gajeel, but he wasn't in his human form. He was... Talking? As a wolf. I didn't know they could do that.

"Gajeel-," The scarlet haired one started.

"Silence. We aren't here to kill her. She's with me." His red eyes fell on me and continued to stare at him in astonishment. "Can ya understand me?"

I nodded and his snout curled into what seemed to be a smirk. That was one thing I'd experienced many times before I decapitated wolves like him.

I looked back to the other wolves who looked at me in disbelief. "You let her drink your blood?" The scarlet haired one said in a near hiss.

"She's on our side."

"As you say, sir." The man bowed his head then he and the female morphed back to wolves before sprinting off in the opposite direction. The Redfox pack caught my interest a quite a bit. No matter how many times I'd encountered one of them, I was still awed by the fact that their wolf forms take on the same color fur as their hair when they walk as "human". Every other wolf pack was either gray, white, or black or a mixture of the three.

"Let's go." Gajeel said looking at me. I shook myself from my thoughts then I took a deep breath and got on his back as I had before. Before we moved the door opened and Lucy stood their with Natsu close behind her.

"If we..." She looked at us for a moment then took a deep breath, "If we help you, will we be granted safety with your pack?"

"Tell them yes." Gajeel said underneath me.

I looked my best friend in the eyes, "Yes."

I stopped quickly from my sprint when Levy jumped from my back. I turned to see her landed on her knee and quickly getting up. She and her companions stood there looking at me.

"He's here." Levy whispered. I could barely hear her but her blonde friend looked ready for a fight. My blue haired woman pulled her sword from its holder and held it in her hands.

"We're so close." I said morphing back into my normal form.

"Don't you think that you should stay as a wolf?" The pink haired vamp asked eyeing me.

"Gihee, I'm still pretty strong in my human form. All of us Redfox wolves are. That is somethin' ya vamps have a hard time seein'."

"You want to fight, hairy?!" The vamp took a step closer to me but the blonde next to him smack his head.

"We don't have time for this, you idiot!" She scolded him with a glare.

I brought my attention back over to the small pure blood. She looked alerted and she walked closer to me looking around. "I can't sense him." She whispered when she reached me. "But... I know he's here." She glanced around again then up at the ceiling. She let out a sigh. "You should cover up if you're going to stay like that."

"I ain't got nothin' to put on, unless yer willing to give me yer clothes ya got from your friends." I smirked as she gaped at me.

"Idiot." She whispered, her cheeks were a bright red. She looked at the pink haired vampire, "Natsu care to spare a coat?"

"I think clothes are the least of your concerns." A voice spoke behind me. I turned, morphing as I did so. I growled up at the head vampire that was now sprinting his way towards me. I sprinted forward and jumped at him. He moved out of my way and I landed behind him. He spun and thrust his blade forward. It connected with my back and slid cleanly through. The pain I felt from this was twenty times worse than the pain I had felt from the bullet that he had left in my leg. Being too weak to control my form, I collapsed and my skin touched the cold stone floor.
