|No you're not reading wrong, this is Chapter Nine. I went back and made the Prologue chapter one and gave all the chapters "Names". Do no panic my friends ^^ |

I was surprised to watch as Gajeel was thrown in the cell beside mine. I thought for sure they'd keep us separated. Maybe I was no better than the werewolves to them because we'd slept together and we loved each other. I couldn't help my feelings though, and really what was the real problem with having friendly relations with them? They were only aggressive because we sought to kill them.

I waited about twenty minutes before Gajeel awoke and when he did his crimson eyes scanned the place. "Damn it..." He mumbled under his breath right before our eyes met. "Levy!" He stood and attempted to reach the bars separating us before he fell over grabbing his leg.

"Gajeel, what is it?!" I reached through the bar to him and he looked up at me once again.

"The silver is still in my leg." He crawled across the floor then sat up against the bars. I wrapped my arms around him to be as close to him as we could be before facing the wrath of my father.

"I'm sorry..." I whispered.

"Fer what?" He looked over his shoulder at me. "Ya didn't do anything. Hell, I kidnapped ya."

"But I fell in love with you in the first place. Maybe if I was the big badass on the inside like I am on the outside, this could've been avoided."

"Eh, fuck that shit. I love ya like ya are, shrimp. We'll figure this out."

"Before or after I die in front of your eyes?" I asked trying to hide my doubtful tone.

He turned around, clearly ignoring the pain in his leg, "Stop that shit, Levy!" His eyes narrowed and looked up at the moon that shone above us. "Shit..."

"What?"

"They plan on burning ya here..."

"But-,"

"There is no moon shinning in my cell. Mine is lit up by the lantern. Levy!" He grabbed my hand that was on the bar, "We need to think fast."

I thought before it came to me that the moon above me was full. I look in his eyes, "It's a full moon."

He shook his head, "The silver keeps me from changing." He turned back and rested against the bars again. I bit my lip looking at his still bleeding wound.

"Let me look at it."

"What can ya do?"

"Just let me see!" I demanded knowing he wasn't going to like my idea, but that was why I couldn't tell him.

He turned around clearly in pain as he did so. He got his wound as close to the bars without touching them and I reached through. I touched his leg and he threw his head back growling in the back if his throat, "Sorry..." I whispered. I touched it again but this time I dug my nail into his leg causing him to jerk away, but not before I took hold of the bullet. When he jerked away the bullet came up with my fingers.

"Damn it, shrimp! That hurt." His voice was a low growl that I found extremely attractive, but it wasn't the time for me to stop and admire it. We were sunning out of time. We had maybe an hour and a half before sunrise and I was toast, literally.

"Look," I held the bloody bullet up and his eyes fell upon it in amazement, "try now."

Before my eyes I watched as his wound healed and he knelt over as he grew bigger than he had been before. His eyes met mine as his body grew hairier and I gasped when a howl left his snout. His crimson eyes showed me that he had no intention of hurting me, but I had a feeling that my coven was as safe as I hoped they would be. My friends were in danger... and I feared I'd watch him tear apart those I cared the most about. Lucy and her lover being two of the very people I couldn't stand seeing die.

The slam of Gajeel against the bars of his cell scared me and threw me out of my thoughts. I watched as he slammed himself against the bars again causing the hinge to give in to him and he stumbled out. By then two vampire guards were there and he pounced the both, taking them both down at the same time. He bit into the neck of the first one then left a huge slash on the chest of the other, they were left there to bleed out as he walked over to my door ripping it off the hinges. I cringed, unsure if he really wasn't going to hurt me. When he came in and rubbed his head on my arm I knew I was truly safe. The one thing that scared me was how big he really was, from my cell I could tell he had grown but not as much as he actually did. I could ride on his back, so I hopped on knowing I wouldn't be able to keep up any other way.

We dashed out of the prison half of the cellar stopping right in front of the room where all of the Hunters trained and met up. I unmounted (that sounds strange) from my werewolf and smiled at him gently, "I'll be just a moment, Gajeel." I whispered. He gave a slight nod in acknowledgment and I headed inside.

Lucy met with me first and she looked surprised to see me at that, "L-levy!" She spoke louder than I would have liked because everything going on around her stopped. All the Hunters stopped and looked at me. "I thought you were..."

"Locked up?" I nearly hissed.

"Yeah.."

"I was, but we broke out. I need your help."

"Are you crazy?!" Cana looked at my from the other side of the room. "We'll all be in the same trouble as you if we helped you!"

"But what do any of those damn Delicates know about fighting like we do? Who trained all of you? Not my father, not my brother, me." I grabbed a sword that was hanging on the wall and turned around. "But if you aren't going to help me, stay out of my damn way." I threw the door open and walked out to find Gajeel gone. My gut was telling me something was wrong as soon as I saw another werewolf, this one as red as blood, rushing at me from down the hall. "Shit."
