Chapter Eight: Wake Up Call

Waking up getting thrown out of your bed isn't the best way to wake up. Listening to your vampires lover cry out in pain isn't the best thing to hear when you wake up either. It actually sucks, but that's how I woke up that morning. The morning that Levy and I were torn apart.

"You messed with the wrong vampires." Nathan said with a smirk on his face. Levy was on her knees, her face beaten bloody and the only thing covering her small body was a blanket draped around her shoulders. Her hands were cuffed behind her.

"Leave him alone... please." I heard her cry. Nathan's boot met my jaw and I growled at him. I took a moment to look around as he lifted his foot again. When his foot kicked out I grabbed it which caused him to fall on his ass in front of Levy. I'd have jumped on him and ended his life then and there, but it occurred to me that this vampire should've been locked up downstairs. The silver bullet met my leg as I stood and there their father stood. 

"I should've known it would be you." He hissed as I fell to the ground holding my wounded leg. "My only question is how she knew it was you." He glared at his daughter who was keeping herself from crying her eyes out. 

"Ya can't keep love from a someone!" I snapped struggling to get up, I hadn't noticed that Nathan had gotten back up until I was back on the ground with him cuffing me. 

"I can when their lover took mine from me. Evert single one of you dogs deserve to die!"

"Father, please!" Levy begged, I looked at her giving her a look to tell her we'd be okay. I wasn't even sure, I was actually positive my life would end.

"I warned you, girl. I'm disgusted to say I'm your father. I warned you to not fall in love with another dog, that they are our enemy. You didn't listen and you managed to find your damn dog lover from your childhood again." Another pair of vampires entered my bedroom and yanked her up roughly.

"What are ya doin' with her?!" I struggled under her brother but the silver in my leg was starting to make my leg go numb and I knew eventually if I didn't get the damn thing removed it'd kill me. Not only does silver weaken us, it poisons us the longer it is in our body. 

"Don't hurt him!" She cried as the vampires drug her out of my room. One of them tied a gag around her head and shoved it in her mouth roughly before they were out of my sight.

"'Don't hurt him!'" Her father mocked as Nathan got off of me. I was pulled up roughly by him by the hair and the leader of the McGarden Coven smirked at me. "I'm not going to hurt you, yet. I'll let the silver poison you and kill you, but not until after you watch my traitor of a daughter die."

I glared at the Coven leader before I was hit hard enough to knock me out.

There was a howl in the night and when the members of the Redfox pack heard it they knew their alpha, the last one remaining, was in trouble. The blue haired second in command had heard it first, and when he alerted the others his mate was by his side in no time. Together the aqua haired wolf and his scarlet haired lover led the Redfox pack to the alpha's cabin to watch as vampires from the McGarden Coven took away their alpha.

"Jellal," his mate spoke beside him and he looked at her, "is it time we finally took this war to them?"

"Yeah, to be honest I've been waiting for this moment. Those damn vampires think they own the night. They picked to worst night to think that." Jellal looked back at the pack he was about to lead straight to the McGarden mansion.

His mate looked up to the moon and then smiled, "The night of the full moon. We should be able to easily take them down. We'd be one coven less to face then."

"Erza," He touched her cheek, "just in case anything happens to me I want you to know you mean everything to me."

She smiled at him softly, "You'll be okay. Let's go save our alpha, love." 

With that the Redfox wolf pack made their way through the forest in pursuit to the McGarden Mansion.
