"Iris?"

I looked around, nobody outside. I stepped out onto the porch. I looked down and saw Iris's purse at my feet.

I looked further and saw a passed out Iris.

"Iris!!" What the hell! I couldn't yell for my mom, she had left to get some last few things.

"Did she pass out?" Someone called coming out from behind my bush.

"What the...who.. Take of the clown mask now!!!"

"Alright, alright." The person spoke and revealed their identity.

"Ethan?"

"Yeah." He said sarcastically.

"What.. Where...why? What's with the clown mask and hiding behind my bush?"

"It was Iris and my two year anniversary. I wanted to surprise her. I was going to show up at her door, but she left for your house so I went to tell her and I guess she didn't know who I was. She ran here and I chased her."

"What is wrong with you Ethan?" I face palmed my forehead. "She's afraid of clowns. And now thanks to you she's passed out. So if I were you I'd ditch the clown getup if you want to have a good anniversary."

"True." He remarked shoving the mask into my bush.

Iris stirred and woke up. "Why am I.. What? Cassie what's going on?"

"Uh...HAHA.. you were coming over and tripped up the stairs and hit your head and went unconchess for a little while. Do you remember anything?"

"Only like some kind of clown serial killer rapist chasing me."

"What? Hahaha. You must've dreamed it." I gave Ethan a pissed off face.

"Who are you looking at?" Iris sat up.

"Ethan?"

"Hi."

"Why are you here?"

"I .. Um .. Heard you fall and came over to help Cassie."

"Thanks, I guess." Iris smiled.

Ethan sat down next to Iris. They began talking over what happened. Ethan had been Iris's boyfriend since ninth grade. He had perfect lengthed dirty blonde hair and beautiful green eyes. But whenever I'm around him and Iris I feel like I'm part of the ugly club. They were probably the two most perfect people in the world and they were together.

"So Cassie did you want to come inside?" I asked.

I looked down to see her and Ethan making out.

Well. This is awkward.

I slowly backed up and shut the door. Wow. Way for them to remember I'm moving today. Iris was so wrong. She'd be fine without me. She had Ethan. I hope I'd finally get a boyfriend at my new school where no one knew me.

I sighed.

I went to the cabinet and grabbed the last of the chocolate my mom was saving for the car ride.

"Here's to my two year anniversary of dealing with them for this long!"
