Iris's POV:

I balanced my lunch tray on one hand while holding my purse with the other. I looked around to find Cassie sitting at our usual table towards the back of the cafeteria.

"Hey!" I commented at I sat down next to her. I nudged her lunchbox to snap her out of her daze. "Where's your phone?! Play some music!" I tried to break the awkward silence.

She quickly retaliated and stripped her pocket of her phone. Cassie sat the phone down on the table.

"I.." she stumbled over her syllables.

"Cassie. Is something wrong? For real, Cass. You know you can tell me anything!" I almost shouted.

"I know."

She clicked the home button on her phone and looked at it for a minute. "You know I love you like my sister, Iris." She began.

"Yes of course.. why...?..." Her voice shook with confusion.

"You wouldn't forget about me even if I was far away?"

"Never.. Cassie. What are you saying?"

Cassie's POV:

Would she cry? Not believe me? Run away?

"I'm moving tomorrow." I finally worked up.
