Chapter 29: Raphna's Payback

So I sorta kinda made Raphna angry that it made her punch me for what I did. Ok so I was hugging Gray and I made Natsu hug her for saying Aww at the two of us.
But hey at least I had my share of fun and embarrassment today. The gang had went on a quest to go and find some demon kid that is these two couples nephew. Just saying that makes it confusing. Well used to be alive two couple.

We split up into 3 groups to investigate the area and search for the demon kid that ate its aunt and uncle. Natsu and Raphna found the child and called out for us 4 to help out. The child was extremely power due to how much he ate from his uncle and aunt. I mean seriously the only thing left was their torsos laying on the floor covered in blood and bloody handprints.
Gray and I had distracted the thing until Erza and Natsu finally killed it once we got outside.

We finally got the money the guy put on the quest. And every one will have the share of the money. I wasn't talking very much because of all the families I was seeing. I saw a kid learn how to bake with his dad, then mom and daughter playing easy tag. Gray asked me if I was okay, but I didn't answer him except looked down at the concrete with fresh rain drops.

Happy- "It seems like it is raining for the next few days huh Natsu?"

Natsu- "Yea. Hey raphna, did Mira say anything about the weather?

Raphna-"No. Not at all. It could just be Juvia crying or its officially raining for the next few days."

Erza-"Well lets find a warm place to stay until it stops raining."

Lucy- "But the rain is beautiful. Can we at least hang out out here for a little bit."

Erza-"I supposed."

We finally gotten into this little hotel and had to spend the night there since the rain didn't stop.

Raphna- "Well it truly is raining. Its past 12 and its still going."

I was busy listening to my music, that I didn't bother to listen. I couldn't hear what they said but Gray gave me a tight hug while I was sitting. I felt myself blush a little and calm while he was hugging me. I was a little tensed up that I needed something to calm me down.

Raven- "Gray. Explain why your hugging me this tight."

Gray- "Well i noticed that you were depressed earlier today, and Raphna told me to give you a hug as payback to what you did to her yesterday. Also ilikeyoualot Raven."

I flinched at what he said at the end. He finally admitted that he likes me more than a friend.

Raven-"I like you a lot to Gray. Raphna's payback was very well thought of. Thanks Gray for making me feel better."

He gave me a smile and hugged me again. We just sat there cuddled up against the bed frame while I heard Raphna scream, "THE SHIP HAS SAILED!!!" in the room next to ours. Even though Gray and I had our own beds, we both didn't leave each other sides until Natsu and Raphna came in to our rooms in the morning.

Everyone was cold due to the rain and Lucy went home to take a shower and get clean clothes. I did the same as well. I meant up with everyone at the guild and talked to Raphna.

Raven-"Thank you."

Raphna-"Fooooor."

Raven-"For having Gray hug me and admit he really does like me a lot."

Raphna-"No problem. Btw I really didn't know about him really liking you."

Raven- "Yea. So in return I'm gonna do the same to you until you and Natsu became a thing."

Raphna- "Meep😶"

Raven-"See ya!☺"

I went next to Gray and held his hand. And everyone was just talking, Mira squeaked when she saw us two holding hands and had to fix her shipment list by adding a love triangle between me,Gray,and Juvia. Juvia was busy in her room being surrounded by all her Gray stuff so she really doesn't know about us dating now. Raphna was talking to Laxus and seeing if they should fight each other.

Raphna- "Alright this fight is gonna Strike ya down Laxus!"

Laxus- "Yea yea. I won't go easy on you though."

Raphna- "I don't care. It's gonna be electrifying afterwards. Leaving you speechless."

Laxus-"Lets see."

Well those two are having a fight. But its sister vs. brother. But a few hours passed and Raphna won but Laxus was going easy on her just to play fair at the second rematch. Natsu high fives her after the match was over. But it was raining out so that was two advantages both used since they are lightning dragon slayers.

Can this day or week get any better. But it seems it can now that I'm with Gray and we are both happy. But what will happen if Juvia finds out if we are dating?
