Chapter 45: Exceeds gone missing?!

The whole guild was yelling at Natsu and Erza who were fighting. My head was pounding for no reason, so I went to my house for a bit but then Raphna came barging saying screaming "Bolt's gone." The first thing happened was Nightmare getting up in a frantic because she thought Bolt was cool. We searched every where and we got nothing. But then Nightmare was gone as well. She was with me not to long ago to. Then it was Lector and Frosch when we saw Rogue and Sting come by. Then Pantherlilly who was training with Gajeel in the park. Then Wendy came by, and saw Carla missing in her room. Then finally Happy was gone who was at the guild before I left the place. Everything was chaotic until all of us heard a simple scream of help from a cave, in a tall mountain, which was cold as well. Not my luck.

Sting-"Hey maybe we'll see those monkeys up here."

Raven-"Hehe can we not talk about those things. Please. I feel very uncomfortable when someone mentions them. They are perverted minded monkeys who can't control themselves."

It sent shivers down my spine, thinking about those things, which had to live in a cold habitat. If I see one, I swear, I will break its neck till it was come at the point of breaking with one simple tug. Just right when I said that, Rogue covered my mouth when a monkey came by. Seriously not my luck today. Why in all places does it have to be cold...

Raven-"Wait a minute. I hate the cold and so does Nightmare. THAT'S WHY I HEARD NIGHTMARE FROM WHERE WE WERE! Someone is using a certain technique to possibly kill us or the exceed."

Raphna-"You do make a good point. Bolt doesn't like the dark, and the darkest place would be a cave underground."

Rogue-"Poor Frosch. He might be so scared right about now.😢"

Everyone-"Really?!"

Once Rogue stopped his crying for Frosch who is scared of being alone. The most likely isolated place would be a prison cell. Since your alone and Frosch only depends on Rogue to not be scared. That kinda makes sense for me at least. Don't know about Gajeel though. That boy only has small soft spot for someone he cares about. Which I'm still trying to figure out how he is my brother. Anyway, it was starting too get late, but we finally got Nightmare from the ice cave. Which was really easy to get her, but then again, no perverted monkeys were there. I think my message got heard. But then I had to break one neck though throughout the night. We didn't get to warmer temperature until later night time like maybe 2 am in morning. Lucy of course summoned her clock, so that she can be warm. All I know is that, I rather be in a tree to keep an eye out for any weird things happening in before we know it. Raphna followed me as well to keep an eye on the gang while we get Bolt for her. Natsu told us that there was a scream but it wasn't Bolt. It was Carla's scream, coming from an old tree that was about to fall.

Wendy-"Carla!"

Erza-"Cmon she can't hold on for ever. Nightmare guide us where she is located  at and we will follow you."

Nightmare-"Right."

Natsu-"Whoever did this will play!"

Raphna-"Natsu-san calm down."

Raven-"Here I'll go with Nightmare as well while you guys go search for the other exceeds."

I jumped off the tree I was on and grew light blue wings to pick up some speed from the wind. The gang split up to go find others but when almost every exceed was collected, Bolt was still missing. Raphna went hiding after Happy, Carla, Pantherlilly, Lector, Frosch and Nightmare were together once more. I looked for her, and by the time I found her at the beach, she had a depressed look and a tear went down her cheek.

Raven-"Hey we'll find Bolt. I promise. What's your worst fear that you regret most?"

Raphna-"Well losing my friends mostly. But I also heard him say something before he disappeared."

Raven-"What is it."

Natsu-"Yea we all want to know now."

Raphna-"Well he started saying "No don't hurt me. I'll obey you I promise." and I thought it was a bad dream but then a few hours later he said "I'm scared of losing my friends like Raphna." Then when I woke up, he was gone. I searched the whole place and that's when I ran to you Raven."

I was trying to connect the dots, but if Raphna and Bolt really don't like losing their pals, then how come we haven't found Bolt the two days we searched. Maybe he did that to cover his real fear. But I remembered that Raphna also hates to sing in public, so Bolt could've been in the market place lost somewhere. Everyone rushed to find a yellow exceed with a distinctive mark so we know it's him. He also wore a red bandana. Sting finally found him and sent us all a flare to the sky. Raphna and Bolt were crying while hugging each other. I took a picture of the moment and put it in my scrapbook. This was a moment not to ignore or forget. I heard a couple of knocks on my door, and it was from a guild. I opened it, and it was from Sabertooth.

Letter from Sabertooth~

Hey Raven, it's Sting. You know how you probably saw a shadow from the GMG. But Rogue is starting too act weird. I don't know what happened during the games, but please come by and get him. Also look over his actions or behavior. He seemed you would like to explain why all of this is happening.

I wondered what he needs me to do. I'll bring Gajeel just in case if Rogue gets hansey when I approach him. It's best if I do anyway for my safety.
