Chapter 73: Disturbing news

The one page that was gone, some how was placed onto the torn page, and looked brand new. Next to the page and was sticking out, had a note saying. "For you to find out your new journey." and it was from Gray. I looked behind me and he was looking down, clenching his fist tighter than I can.

Gray-"I saw your notes and I think you should continue this mission on your own."

Raven-"You are allowed to help. But it might be surprising to what you might find out."

Gray-"What do you mean."

I smiled and grabbed his hand. I lead him to where Elalora would meet up to tell me more information. Elalora looked at him and told me he is okay to know. We got on her hands and she started to take off.

Elalora-"Gray, you found a good one. She had a very horrible past and she has been given a great future, but there's a great gift for the both of you and her family."

Gray-"What does she mean by that?"

Raven-"New member of a family will come out of nowhere? I don't know. Even I'm clueless."

We both listened carefully until the sun was going down and she brought us back. The moment we got back to the house, Gray was already showing love to me. We didn't fall asleep until 1 in the morning I think. But all I remember was him giving me a kiss goodnight and that was it. But the rays were bright this time, but it was Elalora by being invisible.

Elalora-"Gray is on a quest with the two of us."

Raven-"Where are we going?"

Elalora-"We are going on a trip somewhere for the both of you."

I was clueless at the point, but it seemed Gray was in it as well. I just accepted the offer and we started to take off. But just when I saw a huge house that was boarded up, I quickly knew where we were. My last home and where I met Elalora before my parents died. The forest was down the street and it seemed closer than before. Once we landed, the whole place seemed abandoned and the neighbors hardly recognized me or Gray. Elalora hid in the forest and went invisible for her safety.

Gray-"I thought I might take you to your house for a few minutes to grab something's."

Raven-"What would that be?"

Gray-"Well since you hardly paid attention when you were little. Probably,"

I looked at him with a smirk and he put his hands up in defensed and protection before I punch him. But he continued and went on about how I drew just dragons, like I knew they were real. I always thought they were, but I grew apart from that because I didn't think Elalora lived.

Raven-"Honestly, I didn't like living here. My parents always seemed to keep hiding things, acting it was "okay", telling me that there's no such thing as dragons and all this other shit. I gave up on seeing farther than them and my aunt and uncle really didn't live long. I found out my aunt died while she got shot by a criminal and my uncle, he died from a certain disease that's now cured."

Gray-"Well to tell your of what Elalora meant at "great gift for the both of us." She saw our future."

I froze in midstep to my bedroom, that was upstairs, and looked at Gray. I asked that certain question no girl doesn't want to bear hearing. He shook his head yes and I went weak on the step till I had to sit down. But I started to feel weaker by the moment and I was seeing new figures.

Future!~ {yay finally I get to write this!}
        I woke up, in a room filled with pictures of a three person family and blue walls that surrounded me all around. On my lap, laid a head with blue hair, and dark blue eyes that were adjusting to the light.

???-"Morning mom."

Raven-"Morning Storm. How did you sleep."

Storm-"Great, thanks to your pretty ice magic, I'm able to sleep with the cool air now."

Raven-"Well thank your father as well. He's the one who gave it to you."

Storm-"I will! By the way, is grandma and grandpa coming over?"

Raven-"Well why don't we go to the guild together and see if they can. We can even surprise your dad."

I watched the boy go to the closet to get dressed, and of course he almost left with no pants. I ran after him with a smile upon both of our faces and went to the guild while being followed secretly Elalora.

Future~{ugh that felt real for a moment 😂}

I came back from the vision that I was already on Gray's lap and on Elalora. But once the motion sickness came in, I held on for dear life and waited for Elalora to put us down.

Elalora-"I think it's time for you to rest, Scarlet. You've been out of it for 3 hours now."

I shook my head, and Gray lead me to the room, and I was laid in bed. The next few hours, I was up and active and had been wary of more visions that I felt like I needed to sit down. I stayed home while Gray went and did the quests. But I remembered to make sure to see if any pastries were sold. So of course I ran and I forgot the bag and books filled with notes.
