Chapter 39: Winter Wonderland Pt. 2

The guilds were happy for what they got. Rogue on the other hand, didn't give a good present yesterday. Most of the gifts of mine were from my guild, and I enjoyed them. Natsu decided to go on a table to do a dance and it made him ridiculous (THE PICTURE). Once the party was over, everyone went home or to their guilds. Rogue wanted to talk to me, but I ignored him. I felt guilty about doing that, but in return, I made quiche for him as a present and apology. 

Rogue-"Raven. I should've told you sooner."

Raven-"No it's also my fault that I stormed out last night. I've should've figured I'm related to you, by turning into a shadow."

We both hugged and I heard Sting in the background.

Sting-"Aw. Man I never thought Rogue had a sibling."

Rogue-"How are mom and dad. Last time I remember them, was they were off on a demon slaying job."

Raven-"They are gone. They past away 3 years ago. Almost 4 since I'm turning 24 soon."

I went back to my guild, and got hugged by Gray. He was worried I guess. I told him I'm fine, but I'm about to go on a quest. One of them, was getting a kid out of the mountains and he was missing for awhile. I snuck out so Gray doesn't worry about me even more. But when I got back, he saw a couple of scratches, marks, as a bit of dry blood.

Raven-"Don't worry, the creature that got the child put up a fight and I won."

Gray-"You know I love you, but I don't want to lose you as well."

Raven-"Yea yea. Your too protective, at least let me do some things on my own."

Gray-"That's one of the parts I like about you."

Raphna-"Aye cut her some slack, most of her money went to the gifts for everyone that's close to her."

Everyone I consider family was supporting me, and that made Gray angry and storm out of their guild. Leading me to race after him to talk to him. I chased him into the park before at started to snow on us. He seemed to known, he had a jacket while I had a tank top, skinny jeans, and combat boots with heels.

Raven-"Gray, tell me what's wrong?"

Gray-"Everybody takes your side everytime. I want one time this year to be right. I understand it's Christmas Day, but maybe we should take a break for a couple of days."

I couldn't believe what he was saying, and I ran away. It was freezing cold and all I remember laying in a pile of snow until someone came over to cover me up, and keep me warm. I woke up in my room, in my house, with some people watching me get up.

Raphna-"Thank god, your brother Rogue found you in the snow, and brought you home."

Lucy-"Yea we had Wendy help out with trying to not make the fever much worse."

Raven-"Where's Gray?!"

Everyone looked at each other, and told me that the two of us were taking a break for a few days. All I wanted to do was stare into space and thought what I have done. I got up and made Hot Cocoa for every one, and sat down on my couch with Rogue keeping me warm.

??? -"Hey everybody. Why such a moody atmosphere."

Rogue-"Sting turn the heat on to make Raven warm."

Sting-"No problem. Also I brought Natsu and his friend."

Raphna was jumping for joy when she saw him, and gave him a hug. I had to look down and I caught myself crying. Everyone was playing Cards Against Humanity, and Wendy didn't get the idea about the whole thing. I won a couple of games, but Lucy seemed to win every time.

Lucy-"Alright. I get to choose whose card is best for the topic."

Erza-"Remember we don't know whose card is whose. Don't show favoritism or a way to pick your favorite person."

Natsu-"Yea. It seems I keep getting chosen every time."

Raven-"Cause she's been getting up everytime it's her turn. Then she looks at your cards and picks you."

Raphna was getting furious that her and Natsu planned on switching cards and placing down their decks before Lucy sees them. Very smart at some points.
I don't understand why Gray didn't come and join. He was good at playing cards, but since he wasn't here and it was Sting, it felt weird having him not around.

Seriously what did I do?

Hey reader-chan. Merry Christmas to. This will be the last update because tomorrow I'm seeing one of my followers and she's sleeping over as well.

I got blinded while taking this. Biggest mistake on doing that while staring at the sun while taking a picture of the sun.
