Chapter 68: And the worrying begins

Raven-"Mom? Mom, are you okay."

Raphna-"Never better. Let's get into the place before I bring us back to Fiore."

We entered the house and finally met her friend Jackal Shamon. A guy who helped her with a bit when she had a disease.

Raphna-"How did you know where this lives?"

Raven-"The author gave coordinates in the back of the book. The author also said she was suffering a bad case of colon cancer and a bit of bronchitis at the same time. So she past away because she had no health insurance to get herself back up, so he was helping her for awhile. He has the copies of each book she wrote before she passed away."

Raphna-"So he helped her till she died? Why didn't you just say that?"

Raven-"I DON'T KNOW MAYBE BECAUSE YOU AND I ARE GOING TO LEARN MORE ABOUT WHAT EACH BOOK HOLDS BEHIND EACH COVER?!"

Raphna-"Hey, I'm your mother, so take it easy. And I just gotten new god like powers so take it easy on me."

The guy was already at the door before we knocked, and gave us the copies of the books. We explained everything and some how the guy was able to help mom with her powers and she somehow controlled it in an instant. The guy seemed to know why we were there, what we want to know, and how can all of this happen in the future if we ever have made a horrible mistake.

Raphna-"Wait so if we ever make a mistake we regret later in life, the future will changed?"

Jackal-"That's correct. But it all depends on the other party. If one does make a mistake without the other knowing, then it can changed either both or just ones future."

Raven-"May I ask, how long have you known Ali?"

Jackal-"Hmm probably about 24 years. If she was still alive, 26. I've known her for two years then when she past, I kept her in memory."

Raven-"But also how did you get my mom to control her powers really quick. She just got the god like powers a few hours ago."

Jackal-"It's how I used to calm Ali if she was stressed while writing and doing something else. I'm able too make the brain go normal or work faster than the body. If it's the body then it's normal or faster than the mind."

Raphna-"So it's visa versa. But what about the snake that I saw?"

Jackal-"Well you can name it, but you must be the complete master of it before it won't listen to you or the powers are weak to the enemy your going to fight."

Raphna-"But I have no name for it."

Raven-"It will pop out of nowhere when you least expect it. Just don't pay attention to that."

Mom had a concern look on her face, but on the other hand. At least we got enough information to look into and for me to write in the next few notes into the empty pages. But getting to the house from the train took 6 hours since the guy lived in a tree house, alone. And he had a spare room on a different tree just for guests. I mean he lived in the place for his whole life I guess that's why it looked old and new at the same time.

Raphna-"Raven we need to talk. Something has been nagging me for awhile."

Raven-"Who the fuck was that?"
