Here we go:3 BTW this is going to just be a filler chapte and I kind of have writers block for this story so just bear with me(:

 Kairi pov:

"I think he suspects." Drew's arm tightened around me and I sighed.

"He hasn't seen you in a year." It didn't matter if he had to not! All I had to do was touch him, look him in the eye or speak and he'd know it was me. What was I going to do?! And pretty soon he was going to notice somthing is up. Trinity has nothing hide from Paulmer, and I could probably keep this up were it not for Demetre and the fact that I would give off the impression that Trinity is bipolar.

But I couldn't do that. And I wouldn't. That's not the new me. I was a different person and I was going to show him how much better I am without him.

Show him what he missed out on.

I'm not going to run away. Darek turned me and planted a kiss on my lips. I smiled up at him.

"I'm proud of you. I have to go run the perimeter now, but i'll come find you as soon as i'm done. I'll hurry." I shook my head.

"Take you time. I'm not going anywhere." He kissed me again and took off. I looked down and kicked a rock. I wasn't going anywhere.Yeah right, we both new I would have to leave with Paulmer soon. And that made me worry.

What would my life be like when I had to go back. Would I still be treated terrible? Would I even be able to leave my sister and ma? But I already knew the answer.

I would be able to do it. I was no longer the Kairi so insecure and troubled and obsessed with Paulmer. I was Kairi Soltero. Strong, outgoing and Independent. Let the troubles comes. I'll surpass them. I smiled.

One boy wasn't going to change anything.

"There you are!" I looked over to see Trinity walking towards me. Doesn't matter how much I look at her I feel like i'm looking in a mirror. I hugged her.

"The allience was all settled then?"

"Yeah, we got it all worked out, don't worry." She nodded and stared at me seriously.

What about Paulmer?

"What about him?"

What are you going to do about it? I shrugged.

"I'm going to do what I normally do. Pretend I actually have a future, here, with my family." She sighed and pulled me in for a hug.

"Kairi, you do have a future here. Even if your the omega for the Black Fire." I pulled away and nodded. Our birthday was December 31st. I had a month and 13 days of freedom left. Then i'd have to leave. Joy to the world.

"So, are we going to stand her and do nothing or are we going to go swimming like we planned?" Trinitry squealed in delight and hugged me.

"YES YES YES!!! ok, I'll round everyone up and you and Derek go on ahead ok! Oh this is going to be so much fun!" She ran off in the direction of the pack house and I laughed. Derek would be off soon and then we'd leave for the river. I laughed.

Paulmer pov:

It was set in stone now. The Black Fire pack and the Crystal Water packs were now in allience. I had the safety of my pack assured and I could finally look around for Kairi. I exited the pack house and waited for Trinity to come downstairs.
