Draco (Six months later):
Everything had to be perfect. I had to pop the question. I just had to. I found the perfect ring and everything! I have to do it tonight, or I never will. Blaise thinks it’s a bad idea. He says its too early, but Pansy thinks it’s a wonderful idea. I’m going with Pansy’s advice.
She was helping me with everything. Where to eat. How to bring it up in conversation. How to do everything. I was such a nervous wreck. Never in my life had I been this nervous. She could act like she did when I told her I loved her for the first time.
Oh. My. Gosh. Maybe it is too early. Its defiantely early enough to change my mind. I was meeting her in fifteen minutes at the restaurant that Pansy had pick out. It was now or never. I had to decide now.
I’m going to do it. I have the ring, the conversation, and everything! How could I go back on my decision like that.
Unless it is too early.
What the heck, if it is. Its not the end of the world. She’ll get over it, and so will I. Or she will be so angry an d upset that she breaks it off with me in a raging fit.
I can’t do it.
I can.
I can’t do it.
I can.
I have to go with can right now. I was going to be late, and I don’t want that to happen. Not on the night I was going to propose.
“I thought you might stand me up,” Viv joked when I got there.
“I wouldn’t miss this for the world,” I smiled at her as I sat down across from her.
“So, what is the reason for this enchanted evening?” she smirked.
She knew.
“You know?” I whispered.
“Pansy told me.”
“Pansy,” I said under my breath.
“Would you like to know my answer, or would you rather get down on one knee first?” she smirked.
I stood up and kneeled on one knee, “Vivian Riddle, will you do me the honor of becoming my wife?” I pulled out the box and opened to reveal the ring.
“Of course I will!” she kissed me after I put it on her life hand.
She beamed at me over her dinner. I couldn’t help but felt there was something that she wanted to say, so I raised my eyebrow up at her.
“You need to say something to me?”
“I do have some news…” she started.
