Vic's POV

I sighed as I got dressed slowly. This was it, today was the day that Kellin and I were no longer going to be the Fuentes family. He'd go back to being Kellin Bostwick and I'd be staying with my parents until I found a new place.  It was hard to wake up today just knowing that it was all over. I felt so torn about the whole ordeal. On one side, I felt so... relieved. But on the other I was crushed.

I was gonna miss him.

We had so many amazing memories together. I wished so much that we could make more.  I didn't know what to do really. I knew this was the right move, but it didn't feel right.  I wish we could have done more to stay together.

"Hey Papa?" Alan said softly as he came in the room. "Mama wants to know if you two are taking separate cars to the lawyer's office."

"Might as well." I said.

He frowned and nodded his head.

"I love you, Papa."

"I love you too, and I'm really sorry Kiddo," I said softly.

He shrugged, "Mama's waiting downstairs." He said and left the room.

I nodded once to myself and started downstairs.  I let out a shaky breath and gave him a smile when I saw him.

"Let's do this." Kellin said.

I nodded and looked him up and down in the nice button down shirt he was in and the khaki pants. "You cleaned up nice for this."

"So did you."

I smiled and looked down at my own outfit. "Why thank you, my dear, I try to look pretty snazzy whenever I have the chance."

He cracked a smile, "I know you do."

"Are you sure, you two need a divorce?" Alan asked. "You seem fine to me."

"We need it," Kellin and I said simultaneously.

He frowned, "Okay."

"Sorry," Kellin mumbled.

"I'm just gonna go back upstairs. Have fun." He said and ran off.

"You'd think he'd be happy about not having to hear us argue anymore," I muttered.

"He'll get used to the thought."

"I hope so," I said and grabbed my car keys. "Let's go do this, shall we?"

"We shall."

"Come on then," I coaxed.

He nodded and grabbed his car keys.

"After we get this all done I'll grab some boxes and pack my clothes up. And, if you'll let me, a few pictures."

"Sounds like a plan."

"Do you want our wedding pictures?"

"I'd like a few."

"I want a couple of them too. You can have the video and just get me a copy made maybe."

"Okay."

I nodded and off the two of us went to meet up with the lawyer.

The drive made this all feel a little more real.

Once we both got there, I got out and gave him a look. "You ready? You're not going to run out on me, are you?"

He smiled. "Funny, you asked me the same thing on our wedding day."

"That I did."

"Seems fitting," he sighed and took my hand before he started walking inside.  We waited patiently in the lobby before the lawyer came out and got us.
