LMAO I DIDNT POST THIS
Kellin sighed and looked up at Vic, the couple was currently sitting on the couch together, watching the newest episode of one of their favorite shows. Everything was winding down for the night and it was quiet. Too quiet.
"What do you think Alan is doing in his room?" Kellin asked, looking up at his husband.
"Probably his homework, well hopefully he is." Vic told him not looking away from the television.
"Sweetie, this is Alan we're talking about. He doesn't do his homework," Kellin said with a sigh and sat up. "He's being really quiet up there and I don't trust it."
"Kells, he's had a rough day give him some space."
Kellin rolled his eyes and stood up. "All the more reason for me to check on him. What if something's wrong?"
"I think he's fine."
"You just said, he had a rough day," his husband said as he started up the stairs to his son's room to check on him.
"I know, he probably wants space."
"He'll get it after I check on him," Kellin sang as he knocked on Alan's door lightly.
"He's probably sleeping." Vic said when Alan didn't answer.
"Vic, it's only eight," Kellin said with a sigh. "I'm going to go in there."
Vic grabbed his arm, "Can't you just leave him be?"
"I'm worried," Kellin said, glaring at Vic. "I'll just peek in, check on him and then leave. I just want to make sure he's okay, is that so bad?"
"Fine, fine give it a look then."
"Thank you," Kellin said, rolling his eyes as he opened Alan's door to peek inside. "Al? Are you okay hun?"
No sound came from their son's room. Kellin's heart stopped as he walked inside cautiously, ignoring the sounds of annoyance coming from his husband as he looked around.
"Vic," he said, his voice wavering slightly.
"What is it? He's fast asleep in his room like I told you, isn't he?"
"No, h-he's gone," Kellin whimpered.
"Gone? What do you mean gone?" Vic said panicked as he pushed past Kellin into the room. It was empty, drawers were torn out and his window was left wide open. "He's gone!"
"That's what I said!" Kellin shouted, running his hand through his hair.
"Where would he go!?"
"I don't fucking know! What the hell even happened today," Kellin said, looking around the room, trying to find something, anything, to tell him why his son would just run away.
"Maybe he'll be back!"
"Do you think so?" Kellin asked, worry weighing down on his heart. "He didn't even leave a note Vic. He didn't even leave a note."
"We got nothing, nothing at all."
Kellin found himself falling into Vic's arms, trying to hold back the tears. "I c-can't believe he's gone," he cried, burying his face in Vic's chest.
Vic held his husband close as Kellin sobbed and he stood silently.
"It's going to be okay, he's going to come back," Vic said, feeding Kellin promises that he couldn't actually make happen. Vic didn't know what was going to happen, he didn't know where his son was and he didn't know what happened to make Alan leave but, he had to stay positive for his husband.
"D-do you think w-we did so-something?" Kellin cried.
"I don't know, I don't know," Vic sighed, rubbing Kellin's back. "But he'll be back. He can't be gone forever. We've just gotta wait."
"We have to look f-for him."
Vic nodded and kissed the side of Kellin's face softly. "We'll make some flyers to hang up. And, if we don't hear anything in a day or two, we'll file a report with the police. How does that sound?" Vic said, stroking Kellin's back softly still.
Kellin nodded, "Okay."
"Will that be okay?" Vic questioned, pulling away to look at his husband.
"It'll be as good as it's gonna get till he comes home."
"He's going to be home," he said quietly. "I promise."
"How do you know?"
Vic hesitated. "I don't."
"Did anything happen at school today? Do you know?"
"He just told me it was a rough day," Vic said with a sigh.
"I miss him."
"Me too."
"I hope he's okay, what's he doing? Why would he go? Everything was going so good."
"He's smart, he'll be safe."
"You think?" Kellin asked, tracing shapes into my back. "He won't get hurt?"
"He'll be okay and we'll find him."
"I hope so."
"We will. I promise." Vic said, it was an empty promise but it was all that was there to offer at this point. All the two could do at this point was hope and pray that their son would be back soon.
