Son of Tartarus

Finally, I get a statue of myself

I barely looked at her for a split of a second, but it was enough for her image to be burned into my memory. She had light green skin, with glimpses of white, fangs, her typical snake hair, and worst of all, her eyes. Her eyes were a watery greyish tone of green, with a bit of darker green, that looks like poison. If you thought the empousa was hideous, you did not look at Medusa.
In less than a nanosecond, I was petrified to my neck when something pushed me. I fell, but at least I could move. When I looked up, I saw a fully built statue of myself.
Then I saw what had pushed me.
All around Tina, strong, thick vines were growing, filling the cave with green. Soon, the entire place was covered in that, and it wrapped Medusa in it. Then I noticed she didn't even notice, her eyes were closed.
"You can open your eyes now!" I said
When she did, she was amazed of what she had done. Then, she squeezed her fist, and Medusa's vines turned flat, leaving monster dust all over the floor.
"That was awesome!" Shaggy commented
-"Way to go!" I said
-"Guys, I have no idea what I just did"- Tina confessed
-"You were awesome" I said
-"Thanks" she said uneasily
After that, we rested for a while, we were all exhausted after the fight, and we agreed it was a good idea.

I woke up first, so I took Hermes' bag and took out a calendar. Every day was marked until July 17. Two days. As we all had figured already, time in Tartarus is strange. Tina woke next.
We talked for a while until we decided we should leave. We woke the others and we all left. We walked for hours until we heard something.
-"Shh!" Tina whispered
  We waited for almost a minute, after that, I would have said something, but suddenly a female voice filled the silence.
-"Well, I say we should go that way" She said
  Now, when I heard the voice, I was immediately stupefied. That voice was wonderful. I was tempted to look, but I was stopped by Tina.
"What are you doing?" She whispered
-"I'm sorry, I just..."
-"No, we should go the other way" another voice suggested
  This time, I tried hard to keep my head, but Jay didn't. He stood up, and I followed. I was pleased to know that Harry was up too.
Then we saw them. Three beautiful women stood in front of us. One of them had auburn hair with curls, blue eyes and a simple withe dress. The next one had straight black hair, green eyes, a darker skin than the others, and a similar dress to the previous girl. The last one had a light brown-blonde hair that was pulled over her left shoulder, brown eyes and the same dress.
They were beautiful. I wanted to go to them, stay with them and never ever leave their side. It was Harry who fell first. He ran to their side and got near the one with the brown eyes. The other two ladies looked at him viciously and then they gave us the same look. Jay and I ran to them. Jay got the one with the brown eyes, and I the other. From behind, Tina screamed and Shaggy looked horrified. Then, Tina drew her dagger and charged. The girls laughed and looked at one another. Then that all said in unison
"Kill her"
You'd think that then we would kill them, but no, like I said,, we were stupefied. We wanted to. He had to.
I got Shade and started running her way. Harry and Jay followed. Then Harry reached her first. He started to attack, but in a moment of confusion Tina managed to grab his weapon. That froze Harry for just enough time for Tina to put her hand in his nose, and with the terrible air in Tartarus, he fell unconscious. Clever girl! Next, I got to her, we battled until Jay reached us. He threw his spear at her, but Tina redirected it with her dagger. That gave me time to slash her. She started bleeding from her sword cut in her hip. She fell to the ground, hurt, but alive. By this time, Shaggy was at our side and punched me in the face when I was going to cut through Tina. Jay started battling him, but Tina threw her dagger at his feet with the last of her strength and that knocked him out. Then she collapsed on her knees.
I woke up to find that the spell was broken, the girls dead and Harry and Jay still unconscious. Shaggy was on his hooves with newly made, improvised pan pipes. Tina was quite recovered and had one of those white dresses on.
"What...?"
-"Sirens. They are dead" Shaggy confirmed
-"Why...?"
-"Long story" Tina told me
-"What.. what day is it today?" I asked
-"July 18" Shaggy answered
  After that, I ate something, they told me about their story, and then Tina went to change back to her clothes behind a big rock. Two minutes later, we heard a scream. We ran to her. She was dressed back in her purple shirt, skinny black pants, boots and everything, but in front of her a piece of wall had opened and inside, there was some sort of flesh, with blood and everything. It was disgustingly horrifying. Then it closed.
"What...?" I started
-"I don't know!" Tina answered
She was horrified, disgusted and of course, scared. She looked like she was much to scare to throw up, but that she desperately needed to. Her expression showed that she wanted to break down and cry. And then she did.
She started crying on my shoulder so we sat down. The rest of us joined her, and we all tried to console her and convince her that we were all scared. After a few minutes, she got to her feet and apologised, though that was unnecessary, and we left.

The next monster we encountered was not as spooky as the others for a change. It was much, much worse. We took a turn near a river, and there it was. It was a gigantic boar.
"It's the Erymanthian Boar that Meleager and Atalanta killed!" Tina yelled
-"No, it's the Calydonian Boar that Heracles captured!" I yelled back
-"Guys, that is clearly the Crommyonian Sow that Theseus killed!" Shaggy debated.
-"ROOOAAR!!" The boar roared
-"Okay, it doesn't matter, from now on, this is the Tartarian Boar that we will now see who killed," Jay announced
We all charged. We all wanted the title of killer of the Tartarian Boar.
