*Carnation's POV*

I said to the 2 Haunters "Do we need to have a battle?" Then my good friend Lassie said "Winner gets their way." Then both Haunters said "Bring It On!" "We are having a double battle. That means 2 Pokémon each." The Left haunter said. I thought because me and Athena are the oldest Eeveelution, I thought we can go to battle. So I said "Ok!" and I went to tell Athena. she said "Of course, I'll help you!" and all 4 of us set up the battle field. once we finished setting up the battle field. We walked to our places. once we got there, the right haunter said with a smirk "Ladies First." I thought that was very nice of them but deep down I knew they were planning something. Sliggoo was the referee. "ok. 2 Pokémon each! winner gets their way." Sliggoo Started "Ready, Steady, GO!" So I started with a moonblast. that hit the left haunter. then while I was in the air the right haunter sucker punched me. When he was in the air Athena used Psychic on him. While she was focusing on him I saw that the left haunter was starting to shadow ball Athena. So I ran in front of her and used Fairy Wind to protect her. but some how Athena broke the Psychic and the right haunter was on the ground. Then I turned at the left haunter and got back up! they both nodded at each other and then used shadow ball. the one closest to me jumped and they both hit Athena. she was about to faint. I felt it. She fell on the ground. "ATHENA!" I screamed. I ran over towards her. "Athena." I cried. While I was crying the haunters said "Ha! Are you ready to give up?" I whispered "no." and I started to feel weird like the time I healed that lady. "Could it be?" I said to myself "Can It work on Pokémon?" "Why is she talking to herself?" one haunter said to the other. the other one said "I don't know! Lets keep on watching." I touched Athena with my paw and I started to see her eyes fill with liveliness and more to battle. She got up and said with flames in her eyes "I am ready to not give up!" I got up too. So she did her most powerful move, Psystrike. "oh no!" they screamed before it hit them. They fell on the ground and fainted. then I saw Gengar. he looked over at us and said "you guys defeated my most powerful wild Pokémon.  will you guys willing to join us?" Athena our leader said "No. I will not." Gengar asked "Why?" and Athena Said "Well we are on a mission of our own. we saw Sliggoo and we wanted to help. if you guys become good I may consider us being allies. ok?" Then the giant Gengar said "But, oh never mind. I always wanted to be good. ever since the bad guys came in to my life." "Who are these bad guys?" Athena Asked. then he answered. "Team black." "TEAM BLACK!?! They are super mean!" Athena said. "Well they said that i will get special powers and a special jewel. if we do this to lure someone." Gengar said. Athena then said "That 'someone to lure' is us!" "Surprise!" Someone said.
