Beach Trip

Bonk! "Ouch!" I cried.

Laying in the sun felt good. Just laying there, forgetting everything and just relaxing. I listened to music, just laying down, lip syncing to the song. I thought you know what, let's get ice cream to make this better. I got up and grabbed some money I went up to the concession stand and bought ice cream. I got by chocolate and sat by the lake with my feet in the water. I finished and went to go throw my stuff away. I walked back and Bonk! I was hit by something. I fell on my butt. "Ouch!" I said rubbing my head. "Are you ok?" Someone asked. I blacked out, laying down in the sand.

I opened one eye. I was back on my grandmas couch. I opened both eyes and sat up. Feeling really dizzy I quickly laid back down. Grandma came in realizing I was awake. "Ah, your finally awake. You ok honey?" She asked. "Yea I'm fine, but my head hurts." I said. "Yea you got hit in the head." Grandma said. "I did? How? Who?" I asked sitting up fast. "There, there. Lay back down now." Grandma said, pushing me back down and giving me an ice pack. "Someone hit you with a volleyball in the head at the beach. They used your phone to call me because you past out." She said. "Who was it?" I asked. "Some very sweet boy. He had drove you here after his friends hit you with the volleyball. He left after I said you'd be ok." Grandma went on. "Are you serious? A boy? Was he cute?" I asked, anxiously. "He was pretty cute, probably your type. He had brown hair that stopped above his eyebrows, with bright blue eyes and a skinny but fit body. I wasn't much taller than you." She answered. "Oh man grandma, he sounds great!" I said blaming my words on how out of it I still am. "Now get some rest, that's gonna leave a little mark." She said not sugar coating my injury. I laid back down and asked grandma for a blanket. She put it on me and left the room. I laid there dreaming about this mystery guy who had took care of me. He sounded like a dream boat.
