Hudson POV

Finding Ritchie under the pack of Cedar trees was damn near a miracle. If I wasn't so damn worried I'd be proud. It shielded her completely. If I hadn't stopped the ATV and taken a break and heard her I would've went right by her. It didn't look as if she was hurt badly but she had hyperthermia setting in. She was soaked to the bone and going into shock. Undressing her I then put her in the hyperthermia blanket and slide in with her. My body heat would help her.  I'd called for the rescue  chopper but it was going to be a while before they can make it with the storm.
After getting her body Temperature back to normal I looked her over. She looked bruised and beaten. But nothing life threatening. Her head had a pretty good cut but it didn't need stitches. Her ankle was swollen.  It was probably badly sprained. Thank God she is ok. I've never felt so scared in my life. I'm not over Ritchie. Not by a long shot.
