Chapter 25

What? Are you for real? Like outside my house?" Shock of what just happened was settling in making me a little queasy.
" You ok Ritch?" He asked looking a little worried. "You look a little pale, is it the baby?" He asked again as he placed his hand on my bump. 
"No, Im fine. I think Im just a little overwhelmed"
" Everything is going to be fine. I promise.  I won't let anyone hurt you or our daughter. Go get some clothes on and eat. I'll keep everything out here in line. You keep little miss in line in there. If she's anything like you  then that's a chore all on it's own. " he said as he placed a soft kiss on my lips.
After getting dressed in my most comfortable sweats and tank top I sit at the bar in the kitchen forcing myself to eat the food in front of me as Hudson continues to watch out the windows and checking perimeters  for what seemed like eternity. The silence and pacing from one side of the house to other was making me nauseous. Hudson must've felt my nervousness. He stopped and made his way over to the kitchen bar " Do you know of anyone who'd want to hurt you or made angry lately"
"No one that I know of but that doesn't mean anything in the business I'm in or was"
"Huh?" He asked confused
"This is something models deal with sometimes"
"This is normal? Has this happened before?"
"Not to me but to some of my friends, yes"
"Great. That narrows it down. It could be anyone in the fucking free world."He said as he ran his fingers through his hair. It was something he did when he was irritated. "Son of a bitch"
"You don't know anyone that would want to scare you? No one you've made angry? He asked again
" No one"
"Well. no one but you"
"Staying Angry at you is something I've never been able to do, Ritch, and hurting you would be like ripping my own heart out with my bare hands"
"I'm scared" I admit right before total darkness.
