"It's the fourth of July, it's the fourth of July, it's the fourth of July." I sang as I ran around my house happily. It was currently three in the morning but I didn't give a shit! Today was only the best day of the year. The day of fireworks and freedom! Today was also an extra awesome fourth of July because I was finally going to spend it with Iggy!

I had been too scared to invite him to spend it with him ever since the revolution, which was a bit cowardly and not very hero like but I honestly just couldn't face him after what happened on that fateful day. But this year finally, I was going to spend my favourite holiday with him properly.

We had spent a little time on it's bicentenary but other than that we mutually avoided each other like the plague on this holiday. It still always held some kind of scar and with it a horrible tension.

"Yo Iggy dude!" I yelled into the phone when I heard the brit pick up. "Get your ass over to the states it's party time!" I yelled excitedly down the phone.

"Sorry America I have a lot of things to do today I'm rather busy maybe next year." His voice sounded awful like he had some horrible cold (yes I do know what a cold is now).

"Aw come on Iggy please!" I said extending the last word in an extra cute way.

"Sorry I can't-" he had a small coughing fit. "Make it I'm-" he had a bit of a longer fit that sounded a little more violent. "Really, really bus-" and with that last word he broke out into a horrible fit of coughing which he couldn't stop of a good five minutes.

"Iggy are you alright? I'm coming over right now!" I said really worried nations were not suppose to get sick. Not unless something was terribly, terribly wrong.

"No no, I'm fine, I'm perfectly alright don't come over just stay where you are!" He said frantically sounding terrified before I heard him throw up into what I hoped was a toilet.

"I never listen to you anyway so I am not going to start now! I'm coming over right away!" I yelled into the phone.

"America wait no-" I hung up before he could finish his sentence, I needed to get the as soon as possible, I packed in record time and jumped on a private jet and headed off to the United Kingdom.

                            ☕️☕️☕️

A very ill looking Iggy opened the door, he was wrapped in a duvet, looked horribly pale, and had a steady stream of blood coming out his nose.

"Look see I'm perfectly well now get on back to the states! You don't want to miss any celebrations do you?" He said frantically.

"You are not 'perfectly well' now tell me what the hell is wrong with your country, nations don't just get sick I know that much!"

"The country is fine, everything is fine, just head off it's all great!" He laughed nervously before having a horrible coughing fight into his handkerchief, when he drew it away from his mouth it came back covered in blood."

"Iggy you are not fine! Just tell me what's wrong!"

"Nothings wrong!"

"Stop lying to me you did enough that to me as a kid!" I yelled at him, that seemed to shook England into silence, a sad expression clouded his face. That was probably a bit uncalled for, I hadn't meant it like that.

"Today." Said Iggy quietly.

"What?" I said confused.

"Today's the problem." He said looking at the ground the handkerchief was up at his nose stopping the blood flow.
