I was aware of all the faces staring at me with pity and in disgust, but I tried my best to ignore them by just staying focused on the boy without a soul.

"I'm gonna t...tell the principle about this..." I hesitated.

"I'd love to see you try," he hissed, squeezing my wrist even tighter as I struggled. My hand slowly started to get numb. "Cause if you do you're gonna regret it."

I looked up at him with confusion and asked, "What did I do, to deserve this much hatred from you?!"

He looked straight into my hurting eyes, then said, "For being born." People in the cafeteria gasped, even Nahiomy. I guess she didn't expect that. "Do us all a favor and leave this school," he said then released my hand as I was pulling it, causing me fall down. "Nobody wants you here."

"...What? Why...why would you say that?" I asked lowly.

"Because I can," he sneered.

Him saying that caused a few whimpers to escape my lips, but I still tried my best to hold in the waterfall until I was alone.

My breathing got heavy and my anxiety began to flare as I saw everyone's judging eyes on me.

I unsteadily stood up from the floor, then grabbed my oxygen tank handle and looked at everyone with my tear filled eyes. Then I quickly turned my foot and ran from everybody, wiping my wet cheeks.

Although, before I reached the exit, I ran into someone and that person immediately enveloped me with their arms. The person's scent was familiar and gave me comfort. I looked up to confirm my thoughts and I was right.

It was Adam.

"You're...You're here..." I squeaked.

"It's alright, Dawn, you're not alone," he cooed into my ear, gently rubbing my back. "Stay here."

"Ohhhh, ugly has a boyfriend," someone at Nahiomy's table said, causing some laughter to fly in the air.

Adam let go of me and began to walk up to the boy who has been torturing me for the past few minutes, but then Chris stood up from his seat and blocked his way.

"Where do you think you're going?" He asked, stretching out his neck at an attempt to make himself look bigger, because she was shorter by like an inch or two.

Adam just looked at him for a few seconds with a straight face, not intimidated by what he was doing and just walked past him without saying a word.

Chris seemed offended by him doing that, so he speedily walked up to him and grabbed his arm, stopping him.

"Hey, pinhead, I was talking to you," he said getting angry.

"And I was walking away from you," he answered, nonchalantly. "Excuse me," he said, then tried to walk past him again, but Chris pushed him before he could.

"Don't walk away from me!"

Adam stood his ground, barely moving an inch, but him doing that certainly got his attention.

"Did you just push me?" He asked, looking at him in disbelief.

"Well it wasn't the wind!" He spat and people laughed.

"Look, I'm not here for violence."

"Look, I'm not here for violence," he mocked, annoyingly.

Adam put his hands in his hoodie's pockets and fake laughed. "Yeah, that's true. Oh, and say it don't spray it, buddy." Almost everybody in the cafeteria got their phones out, hoping to record a fight.
