STAN POV
I woke up to the phone ringing. I get out of the bed and answer. On the other side of the phone was slight static.

"Hello?"

"Mr. Pines? Yes, this is Officer Blubbs."

I rub my face and talk back, "What is it you are calling for?"

There was a long pause before Blubbs said, "Dipper was caught trespassing on private property and stealing. We need you to come down to the station."

I almost dropped the receiver. Dipper? A thief? There had to be a mistake, but I answered.

"Ok. I'll be there soon."

I hang up the phone and put on some decent clothes to go into town.

"WHAT WERE YOU THINKING? I never though you would be the one to do something so stupid and illegal."

Dipper just sat and stared at me.

I sighed and continued talking. "You need to learn responsibility. And when to stop. I've told you and told you again not to push yourself with fixing that portal."

Dipper rolled his eyes and looked at the wall. He had so much hatred in them.

"That's why you're staying here."

Dipper whipped back around and looked at me. "What do you mean 'you're staying here'?"

"It mean exactly how it sounds. You're staying here for a while to learn a lesson."

Dipper just gawked at me as my eyes well with tears. I didn't want to do this to the boy, but it had to be done.

"I'll be back once you've learned," I said as I walk out of the holding cell.

Deputy Derland closed the door behind me. Blubbs was sitting at a desk drinking his coffee.

"I'm guessing he's staying here, then?" he asked.

"Yeah. I'll be back in a few days or so. Giving him time to think."

DIPPER POV
"I'll show him. I'll show everybody!" I yelled.

"Hey. Quiet down in there!" Blubbs called to me.

I glared at him through the cell bars. He just sat in his chair and drank his coffee.

I walked to the wall and sat down. I grabbed a broken piece of concrete and started to make scratches on the prison wall.

"Yes. Yes. Perfect," I muttered. I tossed the rock aside and looked at my work.

"Egassem sdrawkcab, egassem sdrawkcab, egassem sdrawkcab, egassem sdrawkcab!"

My drawing started to glow.

I've been summoned!

"Dipper! What are you doing?" Blubbs yelled.

A small portal opened up right next to the officer, and he was gone along with the deputy.

Well well well. What do we have here? A Pines. Pinetree, in fact, said the demon.

"Hello, Bill. I need your help," I explained.
