I wad with Jack the co manager of Bruce Wanyne Industries and we were sorting out some paper work. I was in Metroplis helping out the Wanyne indestries. The news had been going crazy about a man know about carlos and I had no idea what was going on. to be fair im only 19 years old. I was organising some papers Jack wanted me to organise when my ohone started ringing.
"Hello"
"EDITH! great your ok?"
"Yes granddad I'm fine. Whats going on?"
"I need you to leave the office lead everyone downstairs. I will meet you at the bottom ok see you in a minute"
"Ok grandad" then I hung up.
"OK PEOPLE LETS MOVE IT! DOWN STAIR COMEONE LETS GO. BOSSES ORDERS. MOVE IT" I shouted on top of the table I was now standing on. People started moving and I did the same. Jack was helping me get the people moving. He stayed behind to see if there was anyone on the floor still. I ran down the stair as fast as I could. I kept running not looking back I needed to get to granddad. I was on the 5th floor when the whole buliding starting to fall. Risking it I ran and pushed myself through the glass window. I braced for a painfull impact but it never came. I looked up and saw a man in a red suit flying holding me in bridle style. "Maybe think twoce about jumping from 5th floor next time...but exuse me I have to save Metroplis" the man said as he placed me on the ground. I nodded. After processing what happened I saw a little girl standing underneath a peiece of wreakage that looked like it was about to fall on her. Before I could leap into action I saw Granddad run over and grab her. A sigh if relief left me. I walked over to them and saw that Granddad was giving the now crying girl a hug whilst giving a death stare at the to men flying around the city. "Granddad?" I said. "Edith! Thankgod your alright! Jack is...no longer with us" he said. I picked up the girl and walked her over to a police man who look for the rest of her family. "Granddad? Can I go home?" I asked. He nodded. "I can't loose you too. Not like your mother" he said bringing me to his side. We walked out of the dust cloud to the heli that dad had come in.
When we arrived at the heli pad in gotham I saw a purple car. The same one I saw everyday for a few weeks ago. Thats why I was in Motroplis to say away from this car. Mum's jornal talked about a Purple car thay waa neon. I needed to be careful. On the other hand I had a party to go to. It was time to get ready.
