Chapter Seven

Angel POV

Edward, Connor and I walked to our lockers. I'm scared to be at school because Luke can still hurt me. "ANGEL," I looked behind me to see who yelled my name thank God it was just Nicole. "Hi Nicole can you not yell my name within the school." Nicole just smiled and gave me a hug. "Hey Babe want me to walk you to class?" Ask Edward. "Babe? Since when did we start dating and don't we have the same class?" Edward leans in and whispers, "Since Luke is coming this way and yes." I just froze right there, I didn't response back. Edward gave me a hug as he said that. I just shacks my head no, I'm just so scared of Luke trying to hurt me. "Babe? Since when did you two start dating, awe little Angel is scared," Say Luke once he was in front of us. "Luke go away your not aloud near my cousin," Connor told him.

With that Luke stormed off I knew I would be in trouble if Connor or Edward weren't around me so now I'm to a point that it really wasn't a good idea to keep going to school. I now have to suck it up, I'm the blessed one. Edward walked me to class, I sat at the back of the classroom and just focus on what the teacher was saying. I pretty much did that all day but during lunch was not fun. At lunch I went to head to the food line to get myself some food when Luke walked up to me saying "Oh where is Edward and your no piece of a shit cousin Connor?" "Well Luke their at the back of the line waiting to get their food for lunch. Connor is not a piece of shit if anyone here is, it be you," I said straight to his face. I was now pissed that he had said that to me about my own cousin. I laughed as I watch Luke storm off, hell I wasn't the only one laughing everyone in the Cafe was laughing.

I got my food and went to sit down at a table few minutes later Connor, Edward, Alice and Jasper all join me. "Angel you I'm very proud to see you stand up for me but you didn't need to do that you know," Connor said to me well taking bite out of his burger. I just sat there eating my chicken Alfredo well everyone talked around me, hell I didn't even respond to Connor. I am not in the mood to talk for the rest of the day. In the afternoon all I did was listen to the teachers and do my work, Connor and Edward tried talking to me but I didn't answer them because well I just don't want to. After school we all went home, I went straight to my room.

I don't know why but I just don't want to be near anyone anymore. Ever since I woke up all I have felt like is a failure for my own well being, I know Nyx has a plan for me but at the same time I don't know if I can do it. I'm weak and can't stand up for my own self, I can stand up for others but not for myself, I'm scared of Luke. How can Nyx bless me to help lead her children on the right path to getting along with hybrids and not fear them for it will make us all stronger. Im going to be a hybrid and they will all fear me so how will they listen to me, i don't get it.

Edwards POV

I'm worried about Angel, I don't know why but she seems off. Yes I know I haven't known her long but from what Connor was telling me, this isn't normal for Angel to act. He says "that she is always talkative, always listens to people, always replys back to people when they are talking to her even if it's in class." So I wonder if it has anything to do with Nyx picking her, I know I would most likely be scared of having such a big role in life. I hope she opens up soon because I really do like her and would love to get to know her more.

Well time for supper I hear my mom yelling. I head down the stairs and to the dinning room for supper. Everyone is already at the table, "I TOLD YOU TO CLEAN UP YOUR ROOM TODAY DID I NOT," my mother yelled at my sister. My sister just looks at her plate, she always has a messy room because she has to much stuff and never knows where to put it. "ALICE LOOK AT ME THIS MINUTE, DID I NOT TELL YOU TO CLEAN YOUR ROOM?" my mother yells at my sister again. I can since that Alice is ready to start cry and even my father can tell. "Honey please calm down some I'm sure Alice has a very good reason to why her room is not cleaned up," father says to my mother. I just eat my food well everyone around me is fighting.

After supper I went to my room to do my homework and text Angel to see if everything is alright but she doesn't respond back to me. I feel sorry for her, wish I could help her but I just don't know what to do. I decide to text Connor and see if he has any ideas to help Angel out.

(C= Connor and E= Edward)

E: Hey Connor how are things going with Angel?

C: Not good Edward she locked herself in her room, She won't come out or let anyone in.

E: :( I wish there was something I could do to help her but I don't know what to do.

C: I don't know what to tell you bro, I wish I could

E: It's alright, hey you think she will go to the movie with me again? Maybe that may cheer her up cause last time she seemed to like it

C: Maybe bro, that does seem like a good idea

E: Okay I'll ask her tomorrow at school that is if she decides to come out of her room, i think Luke just has her really scared

C: I agree with you about Luke and I hope she does, just give her time okay bro

E: Okay well bye for now

C: Peace Bro

After texting Conner i just went to bed and prayed that Angel would be at school tomorrow.
