Stuck in the Middle

Chapter Nine

Edwards POV

I watched as Angel started to fall asleep on me, because she didn't want to go inside. I can't help but find happiness when I'm around her. I can't help but wanna kiss her to it's just I'm scared to because what if she doesn't like me. I didn't notice my phone going off till now, I pull it out and see its a text from Connor saying to bring Angel carefully down the tree to her window. I look down to see Connor standing at her window, I carefully pick Angel up and put her on my back she hangs on to me even in her sleep. I climb down to her window and carefully climb into her room.

Connor help me put Angel into her bed. And then he let me go out the front door so I didn't have to climb the tree again. I walk over to my house and going back inside and up to my room and finish doing my home work seeing vampires don't normal sleep 24/7 like humans do. Before I knew it, it was 7 O'clock in the morning which meant I had to get ready for school. Seeing that it's Friday today I plan to take Angel to that movie but also dinner.

I grab a small blood bag from the fridge and put it into a glass to drink before going to school. Once Alice and Jasper were down stairs we head to out to the car to wait for Angel and Connor to show up. I watched as Peter, Susan, Lucy and Edmund got into Peter's car t head to school just as they pulled out of the driver way Angel and Connor walked out.

The five of us got into my car, Angel and I in the front seats. Connor, Alice and Jasper in the back and our bags in the trunk of the car. I pulled out the drive way and started to drive to school. Angel turned on the music and just looked out the window. I saw Connor from the mirror frown as he watched Angel. I could tell something was on her mind. I pulled into the parking lot of the school and parked the car. I told everyone in the back to get out, once they closed the doors, I turned to Angel.

"Angel what's wrong? Why do you look so sad?" She turned to look at me with a small smile, "Nothing, I'm just thinking about what may happen today at school." I grab her hand and kiss the top of it. "Everything is going to be fine Angel, I promise nothing bad will happen and tonight I plan to take you to the movies so there's something to look forward to after school." I watch as Angel blushes a little and smiles.

We get out of the car and grab our bags from the trunk. As we walk towards to the school I lock my car with the little remote and head inside. We walk to our lockers which were next to each other. Connor had his books already for his first two classes since they were upstairs and his locker was downstairs. Just as I close my locker the tone goes for us to head to class. I walk Angel to Mrs. Swan's classroom, I tell her goodbye and head for Miss. Heart's classroom.

Angel POV

I walk into my desk which was in the back of the classroom. Nicole is already there with her books open to the pages of last nights homework. "Let me guess Nicole you forgot to do your homework again?" "Fuck sakes Angel hush I'm trying to finish and yes I forgot." Right now I'm sitting in Mrs. Swans Psychology 30 course, yes I know its a senior class level and I'm only a freshmen, but I'm very smart for my age. As for Nicole she is a senior but also my best friend.

Mrs. Swan walks into the class and starts to write on the board telling us get are homework out so she can check it. When she got to Nicole shaking her head, "Half done again Nicole, you really got start to remember to do you homework we haven't even a full two months yet and your falling behind." Nicole frowns and Mrs. Swan keeps walking around, "Angel lets see yours please," I show her my homework and then she walks away.

Once she was done checking everyone's homework she went on to teaching the class. I just sat there listening and drawing in my doodle book till the bell ring. I'm sad today part of what I told Edward is true as to why I'm feeling down but the other reason is my birthday is almost near. The tone goes, I write down the homework questions and pages then head to my locker to put my books away. It gym class now, so I grab my gym bag and head to the locker rooms in the gym.
