Stuck in the Middle

Chapter One

POV Angel

I head to my locker, this is my freshmen of high school. I turn the corner and see my best friend Nicole standing to our lockers. I haven't seen Nicole for a long time since her family went to Vancouver for the summer since it is where her father's pack live. Yes I did say pack because my best friend is a werewolf. "Hey Nicole how was Vancouver?" "it was awesome Angel, I wish you were there." I smiled at her well I grabbed my books then I heard her growl but just as I am about to ask whats wrong, just as my locker door is slammed shut. "Hey babe," right then I knew who it was Luke my boyfriend.

I turned to look at him, "Hi Luke, you know that was not very nice of you to do." Nicole walked away and I stated to follow when Luke grabs my arm and pushes me into the lockers, "where you going babe, I thought we could skip class." "No Luke now back away." Just as I said that Conner my cousin and Luke's best friend came around the corner. "Whats wrong cousin, scared of what mom and dad would say." "No, but I rather go to school then to hang with you two."

With that I left them and went to class. In class we took notes. I got a text during class, I pull it out to see it's from Conner. I open it and see it's a picture of Luke kissing and drinking blood from one of the cheerleaders of our school. The tone went I grabbed my stuff and ran for the doors of the school. I ran right into someone, I looked up to see a man and beside him were three teenagers. "I'm sorry," I said and ran past them and ran all the way home. I reached the house and saw my mom was home. I go to the back of the house and climb to my window and cry myself to sleep.

* Six Hours Later*

There's a knock on my bedroom door, I wake up to answer it and to find my mom standing there and she doesn't look all that happy. Then suddenly her look change's to sympathy for me. "Yes mom can I help you? I tried acting like I wasn't upset but deep down I wanted to die. "Angel what's wrong? Why did you skip school?" Was all my mother had to say.

Then I broke down crying and told my mother everything that had happen at school. She called Conner upstairs to my room, Once he was there he realized what was going on once he saw my face. "Conner is it true that Luke tried to get Angel to skip class and you sent her a picture?" "Yes Aunty because Luke got mad that Angel didn't come so he got high and then he found a girl to make out with and stuff. I took the picture and sent it to her so she knew what he was doing. I didn't mean to hurt you Angel, I was just looking out for you."

I run up to Conner and gave him a hug and then he left. My mom told me that I could stay home tomorrow if I wanted. With that we headed downstairs for supper. Once everyone was in the dinning room, I walked to my seat which was next to Conner and my mother. Seating goes like this my dad, peter to the left then Edward then Susan, then Lucy and Conner and then me and mom. All the guys have blood in there classes seeing they are vampires and my mom and sister have wine because they are witches and I have Pop with blood in it. I know right your wondering what I am well that's easy human at lest for now that is but not for very long though.
