Chapter-5

Evelyn's POV;

I wake up by the alarm ringing. I sit up from the bed still sleepy. "OMG today is the day." Yes today I'm going a date with Bruno Mars. Uh...Bruno. I jump up from the bed and look at the clock, crap! It's 11:00 am. I need a dress! I open my wardrobe and look through all my clothes. No there's nothing I want to wear. I need to go shopping. After I took a quick shower, I hopped in my car and drive to my aunt shop. Well my Aunty is a designer. So I parked my car and went inside the shop.

"Hey look who's decided to show up!" My aunt greeted me happily. Although we both live in LA, I rarely go visit her coz of my work and yeah lots of reasons.

"Aunt Jenna, I need a dress!" I told her trying to look calm, I don't want my aunt to know how I'm so excited about the date.

She looked at me carefully and smile, "you're going for a date, aren't you?"

"Yeah, how'd you know"

" Well, I can see it on your face!"

"Haha no way, did I write on my face that hey everybody I'm going for a date?" I teased her.

"No. But your face look shining and bright with happiness and excitement!" She told me while hanging me a bunch of dress that would fit me and took me to the dressing room.

After trying a few,

"Wow Eve, you look stunning! Okay I vote for that black dress." My aunt squealed in excitement.

"Okay I'll take it, thanks Jenna." I thanked her.

"Well tell me about your date, who's the lucky guy?" She asked curiously.

"Ah...I can't tell. Well that's only a date. I'll tell you later." I told her. Well actually I don't want to tell her like this is the guy I'm planning to break his heart, Bruno Mars.

I look at the clock and it's already 4:00 pm. He told me he'll pick me up at 8. I need to go or I'll be late.

"I gotta go Jenna" I said goodbye to her and rush to my car and drive off.

At home,

I took a shower, shave my legs and then I make my hair. I make a curl and let it falls perfectly on my back. After that I put on some mascara and make-up.........

At 7:45, I'm ready. I go downstairs and wait for him to pick me up.

Bruno's POV;

After pulled up in front of her house, I fix myself need and tidy as my best, and press the bell. Right away, she answer the bell and opened the door for me. Geez! She's freaking amazing in that black dress. I just want to grab her and kiss her. Ahem Bruno keep yourself calm. I told myself and motioned her to the car.

I opened the door for her and then we drive off.

On the way,

There's a bit of silent between us then I switch on the radio and god damn my song Locked Out Of Heaven is playing.

"Its your song!" She told me and to my surprise she sings along to it.

"But swimming in your world is something spiritual....." She sings and then I can't keep myself but chuckle.

"No it's not the correct lyrics.
It's water not world" I told her trying to keep myself not to laugh. I heard people singing as world a lot which makes me laugh my ass out. But I gotta keep in front of her.

"Oh, sorry" she told me shyly.

"You are beautiful when you're shy."

"Well I'll take it as a compliment." She told me more blushing.

I pulled up at a nice Italian restaurant and once we've been seated, I asked her

"So do you wanna tell me about yourself?"

"Umm...about what?" She told me.

"Do you have a boyfriend?" I asked her looking straight into her eyes. Secretly hoping that she says No.

"No. I don't have. I bet you have a girlfriend?" She asked me bluntly.

"Nope! Currently I'm single. I broke up with my so-called girlfriend weeks ago." I told her honestly.

"Oh, I wonder who it is."

"let's order!" I told her trying to change the subject, that's really awkward talking about ex.

After we finished eating, I asked her if she want to go somewhere.

"Let's go to club!" She shouted excitedly.

"You shouldn't have ask, let's go!" I smiled and we leave to a club.

At the club, we were dancing and shaking our ass off in the dance floor till the DJ recognized me and called up my name.

"We have our special guest tonight! Give it up for Mr. Bruno Mars!" The DJ announced my name.

I waved at the crowd while they're clapping and shouting excitedly.

"C'mon man give us a blast!"

Everybody in the club is waiting for me so I told Evelyn to wait there and I went up to the stage.

"Hello! What song should I sing? Umm....well the night is young, let's get dancing! This song is called Treasure. I want to dedicate this song to my girl, Evelyn, she's over there" I told the crowd and pointing at the direction where Evelyn is standing. From my direction, I can see her blushing. Or maybe. She looks at me in the eyes and I smile at her.

Evelyn's POV;

"I want to dedicate this song to my girl, Evelyn, she's standing over there." Bruno said pointing at my direction.

OMG I don't know what to do. Everybody in the club is looking at me and clapping. My face turns really hot and yes I'm blushing. I can't look at him right now, my eyes are searching everywhere except his direction. Suddenly my eyes get caught by the hazel brown eyes, and I realize that's Bruno's. He smile at me, the smile is gorgeous!

He start singing treasure.

I can't put my eyes away from him. I totally forgot why I am here for. I don't know anymore. When I'm with him, I feel like I'm over the cloud and floating with the cloud, follow their directions and can't control myself.

After singing, he come back to me and hug me. While everyone in the crowd is looking at us. Then he suddenly asked me.

"Will you be my girlfriend?" He said loud enough to the whole club can be heard.

Everybody gets really silent and waiting for my answer. I don't know what to say. I'm speechless. I can hear my heart is beating like a car engine.

Part of me is saying Evelyn what are you doing? Say yes! You know you love him.

The other is saying Evelyn say no. He's falling for you and that will break his heart if you say no. Stick to the plan.

WHAT SHOULD I DO?

"I...I..yes?" I shuttered.

That's when everybody in the club are clapping again and cheering for us. Bruno gave me the sweetest kiss on my lips. We kissed passionately like we forgot we are in the middle of the club and everyone is staring. Suddenly the people, music surrounding us are slowly disappeared and I feel like we are the only one left in this whole world.

Bruno slowly parted away from the kiss and smile widely and innocently like a child just got a toy he wanted.

Now we are still in the middle of the dance floor and a slow music is playing. We hug tightly and dance like in the movies. I put my hand around his shoulder and he placed his hand at my hips. Our foreheads are touching against each other and I slowly close my eyes.

"Evelyn," Bruno whispers in my ear and I feel like the chills flow down through my spine. And I open my eyes. I could feel his warm breath on my ear.

"I love you" he whispered and kissed me again. I was really surprised to hear him saying he loves me. HE LOVES YOU EVELYN! I heard me shouting inside. I finally kissed him back. Our lips moves in sync and I can feel his tongue asking for invading and I quickly give in and he moves his lips to my neck and I grabbed the back of his hair and he groans and leave me soft wet kisses on my neck. He pull me close to him and suddenly I feel something inside me that I've never had before. I know what it is and I abruptly pulled away from him in shock.

"I'm sorry." He apologized me.

"No it's....Its my first time."

"Let's get out of this place" I told him and makes my way out of the dance floor and I sensed him followed right behind me.

We both got inside of the car awkwardly. The silent is filled between us again. But this time is like we were occupied with our own thoughts.

"Bruno" "Evelyn" we both called each other in unison.

We both chuckled.

"What are you going to say just now?" I asked him.

"You wanna tell first?" he told me back.

"Uh...I'm sorry." I told him not dare to look into his eyes.

"For what?" he asked me back.

"I... I've never felt that way before and I.....I was shocked and...." I shuttered.

Then he speaks up.

"It's okay. I am the one who need to say sorry. I've gone too far. if you don't want to do it now then I can wait." he smiled at me.

"I didn't say I don't want to" I told him shyly.

"Oh okay."he smirked and move closer to me and whispered through my ear.

"So let's take it to my house."

I didn't reply to him but kissed him passionately and we drove off to his house.
