Chapter-24

Bruno's POV;

I look at Evelyn and give her a nod.
"I..went for a walk." Evelyn answered.

"And she came into my room to ask where is the bird." My mouth slipped the words. They all look at me weird.

"Bird?" "what bird?" They were mumbling.

"Oh yes. The bird I saw when I was walking last night and I asked him if they usually see that kind of bird often." Evelyn covered up my words giving me a look.

"You guys should have seen it. It's so colorful." She said excitedly almost jumped out from her seat.

Well her acting was quite good. I have to say. They seem satisfied with her answer. I look at Evelyn and she kick me under the chair for messing things up. I just smile at her.

An hour later,

We're now on the plane. It seems the same feeling as the first time. Phil was sitting next to me and Evelyn and Christina are sitting the seats behind us. Man, I'm dying to sit beside Evelyn and hold her hand. Thinking about it, I glanced back to her and she is also looking at me. I gave her a signal to the follow me to the toilet and I got up from my seat hoping she would follow me.

I walked straight to the restroom and pulled her inside quickly and locked the door.

"Bruno what are you doing?" She asked once she saw me locking the door.

"Why you didn't tell them the truth?" I asked her.

"It's because it's too early." She whispered not willing the other people to hear.

"And by the way, what bird?! Who would go after a bird in the middle of the night and what?! I came and asked you what bird? You should have told something realistic! Are there any bird lives near the beach except seagulls!" She yelled at me but only for me to catch the words.

"Parrots!" I snapped back at her.

"You idiot!" She mumbled and started to walk out from the door.

I quickly grabbed her hand and face her.

"No no no. Wait Evelyn I'm not here for the stupid bird stuff. I'm sorry it was just an accident. I was thinking about birds and it just came out"

"What did you just say? What do you mean by too early?" I asked her looking straight into her eyes.

"Bruno it's just ugh...look! You have a girlfriend and in this case I don't even know what are we!" She shoved her wrist from my grip and close her eyes placing a hand on her forehead in frustration.

"You don't really know what are we?" I draw her hand away from her face and look at her.

"Will you be my girlfriend again?" I ask her with all my heart.

"But what about Jess.." I stop her with a kiss.

"I'll sort things out. I promise" I whisper between the kisses.

I kiss her again and this time is not just a kiss. A kiss filled with love, passion and we go slowly. We make out for a good 20 mins and then I parted away from her. We both are catching our breaths, I can feel her heavy breathing on my face.

"Let's go. Let's tell them the truth" I told her and unlocked the door and walked back to our seats.

I walked along the sidewalk holding Evelyn's hand dragging her.

"Hey guys listen up!" I collected all my guts and started. I could feel Evelyn stood freeze beside me.

"We're dating" I told them. Their eyes got wide in unbelievable looks except for Phil and Christina, they shared each other a smile. Phil winked at me in approval.

"Wh.." "Wow" "congrats" the guys mentioned after a long pause.

"Ayi! I need to change my place then." Phil got up from the seat and placed his body beside Christina.

I gave him a shove on his shoulder and we sat down at the empty seats in front. That's how I wanted. Mission complete. I smile myself amused.

A filler chapter. Short I know. There is no wifi at my new place. So I'm in the struggle :/ and my laptop is also not working. Idk problems after problems. Fml lol. I'm not cursing, you didn't see that! But don't worry I'll try to update soon enough.
