Tucker's POV
Today Desi and I had planned on ditching the rest of our classes after lunch and going on a date. I thought we were both excited about it, so imagine my surprise when she texted me saying to meet her at the school cafeteria for lunch.
As soon as the bell rang I dumbed my books in my bag and headed towards the cafeteria. My beautiful mate was focusing intently on homework and there was a man there helping her.
I felt alpha possessiveness come over me. Who is he? Why is he with my mate?
The man turned around, and I immediately knew who he was. Zane’s Beta
“Mathew!” I spat out trying to control my anger
“Hello Tucker” Mathew's eyes narrowed in a challenging way
“You two know each other?” Desi asked looking very confused
“We met at a party once” I told Desi. Mathew nodded in agreement
“Oh cool” Desi smiled “Mathew is my new babysitter, James hired him to follow me around, make sure I go to class, and tutor me”
“I guess we’ll be seeing a lot of each other” I glared heavily at Mathew
I geuss this is Zane's packs way of getting to me. They must know I have Zane.
Who is is in charge of Zane's pack if he is missing, and his beta is playing babysitter? I need answers, and something tells me Desiree's brother James just might have them.
