“Have you checked your phone to see if he has tried to contact you?” James asked again!
“For the love of God! He hasn’t called since he left the first time why would he be calling now?”
My brother keeps asking me if I have heard from Zane, and I keep promising him that I haven't. James seems fairly concerned about where Zane is, but I'm not. Zane did what he does best… disappear.
“I’m going to school” I ended my brother and I’s conversation
I started going back to school as soon as I found out that Zane is gone. I didn’t really want to talk to him. I’m glad he is gone and now I can move on with my life and my relationship with Tucker.
I went to my first period History class when I got called to the counselor’s office. No doubt to discuss the school I have missed.
I bolted through Kevin’s office door to find a handsome blonde man in his early twenties talking with Kev.
“Oops” I shrugged apologetically
“Come on in Desiree. This is Mathew, your new tutor. Your brother and I decided he would be beneficial to your studies. Mathew will attend all of your classes with you and make sure you are completing all of your homework.”
“You got me a babysitter?” I started busting out laughing.
Kevin rolled his eyes. “Yes and he stays until you are passing all of your classes”
“Ok” I smiled deviously at Mathew I’m going to enjoy this!
Kevin gave Mat a sympathetic look before I drug him off to my next class.
