The Big Five

Chapter 5

       I woke up from the screams of help. I saw the other four in combat with Tylocks. the lizard looking monsters with long necks and tails. Also with massive swords for hands. I reached around for my machete but then I realized it was stuck between three trees. I closed my eyes and thought about my machete like I had it before. It materialized in my hand. I ran into combat with my friends. Conner looked over whelmed as he was running away from the action. His bow wasn't good at close range. The Tylocks speed was no match for Conner, it caught up to him easily. 

It raised its swords but I jumped in just in time to stop the attack with my machete. I pushed to send the Tylocks stumbling back, but it dashed forward faster than I could deflect. It cut off my right arm that held my machete. I screamed at the pain and dropped to my knees. 

 Conner shot a volley of arrows. The Tylocks started to back off as the arrows landed around them. I felt the cool sensation of blood trickle from my arm. I cringed at it all, I was already dead again. I turned to lock at the Tylocks. One of them was charging back fast. 

 Then someone appeared in front of me. The figure held a copper dagger and six other floated next to her, Emma. She extended her hand. A dagger flew and struck the Tylocks in the head and all of the other Tylocks. They all exploded into golden dust and everyone turned to see who the hero was. Emma turned to me and smiled. I punched her with my only arm. 

 "You're dead." I said awkwardly. 

 Emma laughed. "I have teleportation powers." She said happily.

 I was caught up in all of the excitement and I didn't notice that my right arm had grown completely back. I looked shocked at my new arm. I wiggled it and picked up my machete. I stood up and hugged Emma. 

 "I'm glad you're alive." I said. 

 "You guys are making me uncomfortable." Jeremy said. I pulled away. The rest of the group walked all together north. Well at least we thought the direction we were heading in was north. After minutes of walking we found a giant mountain blocking our path from our made up destination.  It looked impassible. The only way that looked like it led through was a long dark cave. 

 "Look's scary." Emma said. 

 "Only way around this mountain." I said. The other five nodded. We all went in one at a time because the path way was too narrow. The only glimpse of light was outside and a small glimpse of light at the end of this cave that looked very far away. We kept both hands on the left wall and scooted along the path. It was getting harder and rockier. I cut my hand on a sharp rock and jerked my arms back. 

 "Keep your hands off the walls guys." I said. I looked down at my hand. The wound healed. The light was getting closer and closer as we kept moving forwards. There was a big opening to where the light was. We walked in. There was a hooded figure chained by his arms on to the wall. His head was down and his legs were dangling. Torches lined the room. 

 "Who's that?" Mason whispered. I shook my head. We walked closer. There was another tunnel to the left. I looked down it and as I did I saw No-eye and Scarface. They walked in, Scarface dramatically slow clapping. 

 "Well, would you look at this?" Scar-face asked. 

 No-eye laughed. "The Big Five has come to play with us." 

 Scarface muffled a laugh. "Oh, and a traitor as well?" He asked turning to Conner. 

 "Leave me alone!" Conner yelled.
