'This Kori,' he thought to himself, 'She's a freak alright. And I have to hunt with her. I just hope she's over that'-
But his thoughts were interrupted as a white blur launched out of a nearby cave, crashing into him at full speed.
"You!" The female dragon pinned him down with a suprising amount of force. "You're the coward that stole my kill! Give me one good reason why I shouldn't end your petty existence right now," she snapped.
Dargon was lost for words. Her deep blue eyes seemed to do more damage than her claws that were already digging into his chest.
"I.. I would've-"
"What is going on here," The alpha roared from atop the cliff. "You two are supposed to be hunting, not mating!"
Kori shoved him further into the ground, snarling. "I'll let you live, but if you try that cowardly shit again, I will personally kill you."
"Kori, get off of him right now or I will take this as another act of defiance by you!"
She shoved him down one last time. "Yes, alpha."
She glared at Dargon, who was getting up. "Let's go."

They walked into the snowy woods.
"I can't believe I got stuck with you for hunting duties," Kori said.
Dargon remained silent.
"Of all the dragons, put the freak with the coward."
Dargon still stayed quiet.
"Are you even sorry for what you did!?"
"I thought we were hunting, Kori."
She whipped around and faced him. "We are! I swear, you cost me a lot with taking that deer."
"You're still upset about-"
"Upset? I'm furious! That deer was supposed to be my offering to the alpha for a challenge!"
"Well, being upset with me won't help."
Her scales raised a bit. "The only reason I haven't killed you is that there will be questions asked if you don't return."
With heavy sarcasm, Dargon smiled and replied, "Thanks, that means a lot to me."
"You're pushing it."
"Do you think I care? If I hadn't found that deer, I'd be dead. I've been so close to death before, I'm not scared at this point!"
She stopped dead in her tracks. Dargon stopped as well. He tried sniffing the air for any scents, but none came to him. "Why did you stop," asked Dargon.
"Shh."
He talked in a whisper. "What is it?"
"I said hush!"
". . ."
"That's better." She started walking again.
"Are you serious?"
"Quiet, Dargon. I thought we were hunting."
