The wurm tried to pull its muzzle out, but got stuck on the jagged rock. Small pebbles rained from the ceiling.
"D-Dargon, how can we get out of this?"
Dargon remained silent, observing the snapping jaw now lodged into the entrance. "It's got plating everywhere, fire won't do anything to it. I don't even think our claws could pierce through."
"So we're stuck here," she questioned, swaying back into hysteria.
"Until it looses interest, I would guess that we are."
"Dargon, what do we do?"
"We wait."
"We're going to die," she wailed." We're going to die here!"
"Calm down, we have food," Dargon said, motioning towards the scraps of the deer carcass.
"Are you kidding me!? For fuck's sake, if this wurm wasn't already going to kill us, I'd kill you myself!"
"I think we should actually do something instead of making death threats towards each other."
"Well what do you propose we do," she growled in a low tone.
"Like I said, the best we can do is wait."
"If I have to deal with that snapping jaw and stench for any longer, I'm going to lose it," Kori growled.
"I'm sorry but there's nothing I can do about it."

The wurm's jaw continued to snap at the pair, not nearly close enough to get at them.
"Would you shut up," Kori roared angrily at the snapping jaw, which continued trying to bite at them.
"That's it! Dargon, hold its jaw shut!"
"I don't see how that will-"
"Just do as I say!"
"Fine." Dargon hesitantly approached the maw of the scaled wurm. "How do I keep it closed!?"
"I don't care, just make sure it stays shut!"
'I'm going to regret this,' Dargon thought as he pulled its jaws together.
Kori closed her eyes.
"Whatever you're doing, do it quick!"

Frost crystals started forming around its mouth. They crept from the corners towards the center, until the wurm's mouth was sealed shut with ice.
"Dargon, you can let go of it now. That thing won't be opening its jaw for a while."
Dargon just stared at her. "I didn't know you were an ice dragon..."
"Why do you think everyone else calls me a freak," She retorted.
"Sorry, I didn't know."

It was remarkably quiet now that the wurm was silent.
"It can't breathe so we should be able to just move it soon."
"Why didn't you just do that earlier," asked Dargon.
"I panicked, alright?!"
"It's fine, it's fine," Dargon reassured her. "I was freaked out too."
The wurm continued to wriggle around and free its muzzle.

"Okay, it should be out now."
They shoved hard, trying to push the massive head out of the opening. Finally, it unlodeged from a stubborn stalagmite, blood spurting from the puncture in its throat.
"Well, that takes care of killing it," muttered Dargon.
"Dargon, we have a problem."
"Hm?"
"How do we get this thing back to the flock?"
