Katie and I had put some color onto my arena "suit" outlining it with red and blue, and to my surprise Katie was well accustomed to using using a needle and thread. Unfortunately she also tried to make the shirt tighter and the skirt shorter, I was forced to hide my clothes until she left then when she finally did, I found my way to my loving bed. I woke to the sun light in my eyes I fell asleep? I shrugged off my confusion and hurried to get ready for school, however it was a struggle through the achy pain I felt pulsing through my muscles and pulling at my bones.
"Lin, you're going to be late, hurry up." Ter had pounded on my door after saying this then ran.
That's weird usually he yells more. I thought upon opening the door, but he was gone, Jurry ran past. "Jur where'd Ter go?" Jurry turned and shrugged.
"Don't know but if you find him could you ask him to give me back my t-shirt." Jurry then took off at a run. I was left alone in the house, and that pain I felt continued to plague my body Maybe I should just stay home. Then I remembered I had a test in the first class and I groaned, after first period I will come home. I nodded to myself then continued to get ready for school.
I regretted getting out of bed as soon as I had, but now it felt as though I would explode and I hadn't yet made it to school, shoulda stayed home, shoulda stayed home my thoughts chanted as each step pained me more than the last.
"Lindal? Are you okay?" I heard Katie's voice ask as I made it into the school, unable to talk through the pain I only managed to shake my head. "Girl why you at school if you don't feel good?" she rubbed my back gently, and with the contact something ticked in the back of my head, but I couldn't put my finger on it.
Katie walked me to class and sat me in my seat, looking at me with big worried eyes, ignoring the two hotties as they walked into the room, they were arguing and bickering. Their fighting stopped when they spotted me, and Katie.
"Lin are you alright? You look pale." Jeremy had placed a hand on my back and started rubbing, another click in the back of head, then Gerak was next to me.
"Yeah Lindal maybe you should've stayed home today." Gerak's hand was placed on my forehead, the last tick in my head was released, and my body began to show signs of the thing I had kept hidden since as long as I could remember. The scales, the heat coming from my body, now the cold had joined. I felt my back explode with two protrusions next to my shoulder blades, my hands were layered with scales both red and blue, and the talons emerged from my finger nails.
My body moved without my control, jumping up onto the desk and tackling Katie with my taloned hand I tore out her throat then turned to Jeremy. He was paler than usual and he held up his hands the look on his face made my human side nearly cry. He was, terrified, and worse of all disgusted.
"Lin, what are you-" he was cut off as I tackled him and dragged my talons down his torso, splitting him in two .
That was when I turned to Gerak, he stood frozen shaking his head.
"You're a monster." He whispered as my body walked closer.
No not Gerak, Katie? Jeremy? I whimpered internally, then it was over my body had ripped Gerak to pieces.
"Lindal! Lin honey it's okay! I'm here."
Mom? Suddenly I was being shaken by my shoulders and my mother's voice chiming sweetly, I felt arms around me, but they weren't my mother's arms.
"Lin, it's okay sweetie."
My eyes fluttered open, my bedroom I was in my bedroom Ter had his arms around my shoulders, holding my back against his chest. Ter's blue-ish yellow scales covering his arms, "Lin you okay?" Jurry was sitting on the bed holding my legs, his slightly blue eyes glowing.
