Once inside the cinema, Rachael dug her heels in careful however to maintain her balance. She swung out of Nicholas' arm, glanced quickly around and once confirming that there were only two people in sight, a maintenance guy and the receptionist, she faced Nicholas with a glare.

"How could you pull a stunt like that" she asked loudly

   Nicholas scowled glancing around quickly,

" You wouldn't dare ruin my well thought out plan, the world must see us as a loving couple an...."

      "I don't care!" Rachael yelled,
"You could have at least told me beforehand, a warning perhaps?" She continued

"Anyone could be here watching or listening woman, keep your fucking voice down" Nicholas said calmly, however if the threatening step he took closer to her was something to go by, Rachael knew that he was anything but calm at that very moment.

Unconsciously, she took a step back, Nicholas noticed this and looked almost like he was smirking, "There are very few things that make me tick, Miss Stone, and that includes disobedience, rudeness, sauciness amongst other things which I'm fast beginning to believe is you, Do watch how you behave around me Miss stone, I refuse to tolerate the slightest show of nuisance, and that little stunt in the car, I'll advice that it never repeats itself, if and when I ask you a question or talk to you and I requires an answer, you fucking give it to me" he paused as though to allow his little speech sink in

"Are we clear?" Nicholas asked his brow raised

His frown deepened when she just stood there her lips slightly parted, her eyes rounded and shocked her chest rising and falling a little too fast, her cheeks were an angry shade of red and it looked to him like she was trying to choose which of the emotions rolling off her in hot waves she should let prevail, embarrassment?, or anger?

    He glared.

"Miss stone, you don't take instructions well now do you?....it's unlikely...."

Rachael snapped out of her daze, how dare him? she thought angrily, speak to her like she was merely a child who has been bad bad in school?,

She looked to the receptionist and found her watching them with open interest not bothering to look away when their eyes met, although Rachael was sure the lady could not hear what they were saying, their stance suggested it in quite a loud volume, the receptionist waiting eagerly for her response to what to any onlooker was definitely a threat which Rachael mused it in fact was!. Mortification washed over her in waves.

    She straightened her spine.

She was not a kid and was tired of being treated as one, first her father and now the man that she was going to marry, she looked to the maintenance and found that he either didn't notice the exchange or just didn't care at all. She didn't know why Nicholas was the cold oof that he was but she hadn't expected that he'd be this hostile to her, at least he didn't act this way towards her in all those daydreams she had, she shook her head, a small smile playing on her lips.

She had always dreamed of moments like this with him, and she was not going to let him bad behaviour or attitude dampen or ruin her first ever date with "Nicholas fucking Mckay", allowing the smile to blossom fully on her lips, she took pleasure in noticing surprise register on Nicholas' face before it quickly vanished

" I apologize love" she started
"I've been a bad bad baby" she stepped forward and took his arm still smiling sweetly, she placed a peck on his cheek aware of how stiffly he was holding himself and aware of the wrecking effects beings so close to him and touching him was having of her and ignoring them all together. She leaned in closer and rested her bead on his chest inhaling deeply, she smelt sandalwood and coffee, she wanted to burrow deeper into his chest when he went stone still and held her at arms length, away from his heat.

He watched her closely as though to make sense of her behaviour but then clicked his tongue.

"Do not play games with me Miss stone, you might know the rules of the game but they don't always apply. You do not know how to play dirty" he warned quietly

Bringing her closer he rested her hand and his arm and started them forward towards the receptionist

"Come now, we have a movie to catch"

Rachael's smile almost fell, of course he had to have the last words, she frowned inwardly. Signing she clutched his arm a little tighter, at least he wasn't rattling on and on about her being rude or being much of a control freak he was, so Rachael let herself relax, she was going to enjoy this date whether he liked it or not.
