Nicholas Mckay sat at a corner in Sweets and Weddings impatiently tapping his sneaker encased feet against the tiles, a fierce frown knitting his brows together, he had been in the same position over an hour and was beginning to wonder if Edward Stone was sure that his daughter would be coming in today, he glanced at his watch yet again seeing that another five minutes had passed, he swore under his breath.

This wasn't how he expected to spend his day damn it.

He tried to calm down, lecturing himself that Rachael had no idea of their outing and so wasn't intentionally running late but then a tiny smile tugged up the corner of his mouth, he wouldn't put it past her her to do something of such in order to spite him. The little kitten has claws and she tried scratching him with it, firing retorts at him and being rude as hell but she didn't know him, she didn't know he demanded absolute respect.

He wasn't a nipple clamping dominant or some shit but he was a tie her to the bed and spank her for being a sassy ass dominant and he knew quite well that marrying Rachael would leave her with her backside red more times than not. His finding the thought pleasurable sent another curse out of him. The two years he had spent with Vivian had been wasted years of absolute deception. Vivian had acted meek and never spoke back, he didn't know how he never noticed. It was like she changed her lifestyle for the whole two years, not partying, hardly hanging with friends, being the perfect hostess and plus one at events until the very end when she had been caught.

Oh then he'd known she was a mean bitch, she has sneered right in his face, laughed and called him weak and spineless, she had even told him that she knew he didn't have the balls to sue her.

She joined Manuel Dergo the owner of a rival architectural company in Vegas that night, the press has been all over the story. He found out later that she had sold the engagement ring he bought her and blown the money away with her lover.

Not less than a week later, she started getting modelling contacts with top fashion lines. Apparently modelling agencies had turned her away because she was a little on the short side but after spending two years in the arms of Nicholas Mckay, the most eligible bachelor in the state, she had successfully killed two birds with one stone.

He hadn't had any reason to spank Vivian for being rude but he sure would had a thousand reasons to redden Rachael's.

He had sworn himself off women and only indulged in them once in a while and never at his house and it had nothing to do with him living with his father. He took them to hotels, fucked and sent them on their way. The day after Vivian left he put his house on sale and moved in with his father. He had no hard evidence against Vivian on stealing his designs and that was what he kept telling himself was the reason he didn't sue her but when he had grown out of the stupid love he had for her, he realized she was right and he was in every sense a weak and spineless man.

No woman would ever do that to him again, he silently made the oath to himself yet again. He would die from working too hard than die from the thorns of a woman.

His father has seen his rock carved resolve and Nicholas knew that was the foundation of the marriage clause that came attached to him having Baywaters. He had met his father in his office Saturday night and had spoken to him about Rachael. The older Mckay had been ecstatic about his choice, Nicholas had even received a pat on the back and a broad smile sunday morning on his way out after his father had watched the news.

Terrence  McKay was a very hard man toughened by years of  rejection no recognition  from his father who had a preference for his second son from his mistress. Terrence's father's marriage to his mother had been a loveless marriage and  the lovelessness was shone on Terrence as he grew. Terrence Mckay tried his best raising Nicholas but he was still a hard man and that was why the little and extremely rare show of approval had boosted Nicholas into action, his actions that went futile for the following week.

Rachael had refused another date with him, she wouldn't even pick his calls. He schedule had been too tight during the week hindering him from paying her a very unexpected visit at her office leaving him very frustrated. He had had no choice but to call her father, hence his being here on a Saturday instead of being at work.

He was just about checking his watch again when Rachael's grey convertible pulled up in front of the shop, he watched her collect her things from the passenger's sit, open her door, step out, lock the car and start towards the door. She was a ray of sunshine in her orange summer dress and gladiator sandals, her hair was pulled back in a high ponytail and an oversized glasses crowded her face. She looked so unguarded, carefree and happy. She mustn't have noticed his car because she continued right on,opened the door pulling off her shades as she bustled right in a ready smile on her face for her employees who he had ignored ever since greeting them when he first walked in.

He didn't know if it was the weight of his gaze on her or the rigid way her employees replied her greeting that tipped her of his presence but he knew the second she figured he was there.

She stopped just short of reaching the counter like someone who just ran into a glass window and spun around so fast her purse slipped off her shoulder onto the floor, her wide eyes zeroed in on his car and he watched to his amusement as she began to shake her head in denial, one of her hands flew to her chest as she almost comically very slowly turned to face him. If something as funny as the sight in front of him happened when he was alone, he'd have laughed out loud, instead he swallowed the laughter and allowed a very practiced devilishly smug look creep onto his face.

"Hello Rachael, I missed you this week".
