Nicholas acted on reflex as he felt her body go lax and grabbed her against his body, her head lulled backwards onto his arms and a chorus of gasps went through the crowd
Clair rushed forward and stood in front of them back facing the crowd, shielding them
"What did you do to her damn it?" Claire whispered fiercely
Nicholas glared at her and would have retorted if it weren't for his fainting brides' lashes fluttering open, her dad got to them just then
"Jesus Christ what happened?" He asked urgently
Racheal who had now come to and was fully aware straightened from her lax position, her cheeks were red and splotchy, Nicholas could bet half his current bank account that her cheeks would be hot to the touch. She was so embarrassed, She looked fucking adorable.
She glanced out at the worried crowd and smiled a small, shy smile "First kiss as a married couple definitely blew me away" she said her voice clear if a little shaky
A chorus of laughter went through the crowd, a couple of people actually clapped, finding it romantic or something
Nicholas waved Claire and Edward off but his arm remained around Racheals' waist, he wasn't about to let her face plant when they walked out, he told himself, but deep down he knew that he also wanted to feel the creamy skin exposed by her backless dress
Smiling brightly, they both walked down the isle out of the church, Nicolas found that he was enjoying more than he cared to admit, having rice thrown at him and his new wife who was giggling beside him as they made their way into the limo for the fifteen minutes drive to the reception
Once they were safely in the vehicle and it began to move, Nicholas turned and focused his gaze on his bride, she was twisting her fingers together nervously and for some reason, it reminded Nicholas of the first night he had talked to her at the charity. He also remembered he has been very pissed that day, and rightfully so if he might add, his father has dropped the marriage clause bomb on him sometime a couple of weeks prior and he, to put it lightly hadn't been pleased at all
When Edward Stone had not so subtly brought up his daughter at a meeting in consideration of the merger, Nicholas tried to remember her, flashes of a few times she'd appeared in the news came to mind, graduation, one morning she'd been having coffee, at her mothers burial all red faced and other times he probably didn't know about because he could care less
He hadn't so much as given her a second glance at her mother's burial, crying her eyes out behind an handkerchief, his own mother died birthing him, so he couldn't exactly share the sentiment. She wasn't some super model or anything, in fact she didn't look like a model of any kind super or not, but she was beautiful alright, she wasn't tall, or short, her skin was white all the time making her blushes more pronounced, her ink black hair fell somewhere to her mid back and then there were the curves, lord did she have them. Her tits looked firm and round and her ass?, not exactly large but an handful still, her sides dipped right making her hips flare out. But she was no super model. She was just her and she was fucking beautiful, if anyone had asked him a couple of months ago what beautiful was, he definitely wouldn't have explained it with Racheal in mind and that irritated him more than anything.
"What the fuck was that?" He asked eyeing her, that dress was just downright sinful
"I.... I don't know" a slight shrug "I guess I just got a little lightheaded"
Right, Nicholas thought, just after he kissed her, if he were a different man, he would have rolled his eyes. He didn't know if he should be flattered or angry, did she faint because she had been overly excited for the kiss or because it had disgusted her?, he found that even if it was the former, he shouldn't consider himself flattered because that meant she was either really good at faking a faint or those stars he has seen in her eyes whenever she looked at him, especially on their movie date were real. Either of the possibilities didn't sit well with him, it'll only ensure that it'll make it harder for him to get rid of her
"Whatever that was, low sugar or whatever, don't ever let it happen again, we'd be kissing Racheal we're a couple, so whether or not my kisses repulse you or you're just that coy, you'd take them without embarrassing me like that again"
Racheal was surprised to find herself nodding, she was still stunned by the force of her reaction to the kiss, of course she knew they'd have to kiss but damn that was some kiss, it had been short but apparently it was all was needed to make her faint away even if it had only been for a couple of seconds. She'd die before she admitted to him that she'd fainted because her heart had been pounding too fast and she had lost her ability to breathe and it was all because she had been waiting all these years to know what kissing him felt like. It was definitely not disappointing because she knew if she checked, her new thong courtesy of Claire would have a wet spot on it, if her hardened nipples and shortened breathe that had nothing to do with her descending the church steps were anything to go by.
Nicholas thankfully remained quite the rest of the ride, just like at the church there were cameras everywhere, more smiling, more holding of hands, a peck on the forehead here and there. Racheal was certain her face would crack soon from smiling so much
People came to ask her what had happened, she'd waved them off with a laugh, making some comment about Nicholas normally being a good kisser, but a great one as a husband. In all honesty, she was tired, she just wanted the day over with, and then there was the flight to the island later at night
Nicholas sat with his best man Collins, Claire and Terrence after pictures were taken. It was a wonder he and Racheal got through that without any hitch, at least they didn't have to kiss again, he mused, he couldn't imagine what joke she'd make to pacify their guests for fainting again, he dropped kisses on her forehead and cheeks instead. Now he watched her dance with Edward and he found that he couldn't look away, he began to detest his decision to let her handle her dress, if he had seen the dress before today, he'd have never let her leave the house in it, a smile tugged at his lips imagining her glaring at him and tearing him a new piece. She was feisty alright, he felt cornered when the thought of taming her popped into his mind. With how white her skin normally was, he could just see behind his eyes, how red her ass would tan when he spanked her silly
He found himself standing when the father-daughter dance was over, he eyed her father for being teary eyed before taking Racheal away from him, he noticed instantly that her cheeks were flushed prettily
"You shouldn't wear a dress like that" he mumbled
She looked up at him and although it didn't seem possible her color darkened
"Everyone likes it" she said quietly, almost shyly
"I don't" he stated and pulled her closer, intentionally he rested his palm at the base of her back, rubbing his thumb into the exposed skin there, he watched her eyes dilate and immediately wanted to kick himself, his semi hard cock was definitely going to be at full mast before this dance was over
"Not now Nicholas, I've given you everything, just let me have this dress, this day. It's just a dress"
Nicholas wanted to shake her and yell that it was not just a dress, not with the way he'd seen other men eyefucking her all day, not with the way he'd been eyefucking her all day.
Fighting to keep his expression neutral, he plastered a smile on his face and swirled his wife around. It'll only be a while, Baywater would be his and he'd have no need for Racheal Stone anymore.
